Generous portions for shared platters with gorgeous hams and cheeses. Great atmosphere as the restaurant is fumily run. Will be def back for bigger feast!

We love this place. We have been back a few times and it is quickly becoming our favourite for a light aperitivo with a good glass of wine or a cocktail. It is so very authentically Italian. Thank you Maurizio for your welcome every time.

We arrived quite late in Cambridge for a lovely journey to visit a friend. The chef was eating with his family they welcomed us straight away and recommended a big pasta dish and a delicious bruschetta pouring olive oil on our meals like in Italy they would do it with natural ! We had delicious and tasty food with a great bottle of red wine ! They chatted with us and were lovely hosts ! I completely recommend this restaurant ! We will come back for sure ! :D

Took friends for an evening at this wonderful place and, two weeks later, they are still raving about it. They've returned to London, spreading the word that "Cambridge has the best new restaurant". Thank you, Maurizio and Sweet, for delicious fresh food, the perfect aperol spritz and the most fun dining experience around.

Sweet and Maurizio have been friends of ours for years (and neighbours for some of that time.) However, this does not bias our dining experience at this fabulous restaurant. Maurizio is passionate about Italian food and wine, and also extremely knowledgeable. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented and the atmosphere warm and friendly, just as anyone would want.



The fact that Sweet and Maurizio know the Mill Road is a bonus. They understand the vibrancy and the ambience of this very eclectic part of our city. This area has been crying out for an authentic Italian dining experience and now we have it on our doorstep!

Posto accogliente vino e cibo molto buono ... e che dire dei padroni di casa ? Meravigliosamente ospitali.. .

Nice place to get the real aperitivo. Nice vibes and lovely staff. Chef very friendly. A place to try by all means!

You could enjoy a quick drink or snack, but the emphasis is on spending a few hours over your meal. This is rare, as most places want you in and out quickly. There are just a few tables, generously spaced around the restaurant. Clearly the furniture was selected for its appearance and comfort, rather than its maximum seating capacity. Enjoy it now before there is a waiting list.
