I gave this 4 stars as I think it has a high class of hot food and service which is dependable and fast.

Big man behind the desk thought I wouldn't be able to finish the Max's special burger! Pffft piece of cake! Suffered after though actually lol. You can get full to bursting on a fiver! Nice staff too

The place is not one of the nicest but it is delicious.

Best chippy in town at the best prices. Not the cleanest looking (-2 Stars) but the food is always top quality.

The place is dirty, food is well below par, staff are what you'd expect from this place. Best to be avoided.

Would rate lower than 1 star if i could! My order was forgotten about on the grill for 10 mins and it has now given me severe food poisoning. They also use the same tongs for beef, chicken, raw and cooked!!

Ordered from maxi tonight and not happy food was awful wont be going back there. Nuggets had a red sauce on bits of them so my kids couldnt eat the food fish was ok chips were awful and waited over an hour.

Used to be good don't know what gone wrong think you need new chef.
Ordered from here tonight food was disgusting not even cooked properly.
I found a hair and and something red in food.
Chicken nuggets were were still pink on the inside.
The red stuff looked like it came from other foods maybe a sauce but just aswell I'm not allergic to anything.
