Now that another festive period has come to a close the pub will now be operating on winter hours. This means closing at 11pm on weekdays and 12am at weekends. As a result we won't be holding the popular smartphone quiz on Thursday's for the time being. Keep an eye on the page for an update on when the quiz will be returning. Went there yesterday with some of my friends they really enjoyed there meal and will go back again .As for myself it's my favourite everytime I'm there I have my dinner. Love the place and the staff are brilliant keep it up.

Visited McCabes on our first night on holiday & made sure we popped in every night after for a last drink , hospitality was fantastic & they even put the Newcastle match on for me & my son = 10/10

Me, the kuds and mum used to enjoy the drive down here, it's so well refurbished, it's actually gorgeous. Same friendly staff and great food.

Droothy Neebors is the new name.

Me and Paul come to drouthy neebors and would love to say it's one of the best pubs in town and great bar staff

McCabes is a great happy friendly environment.. the staff are pleasant and really helpful. The food is lovely and the owners/ managers are just fantastic. I love McCabes it's my local and favourite pub and its beer garden is a nice bonus on a sunny day. Always a buzzing environment and I would recommend it to anyone from Largs or on a day trip to Largs...

I would definitely recommend this wee family oriented pub if you are in or around Largs to go in for something to eat the food is beautiful and the staff are really friendly

I have always went here for food & drinks. As the food was lovely as always & bar staff are always lovely & plesent to there customers. I would recommend this pub big time.

Friendly staff good prices did eat as we already ate but will try food next time

Friendly bar. Really good prices. Lots of choice. Football was on and cup being presented. All good in spirits.

Food was lovely and fresh. Service was very good. Will definitely be back x

Always enjoy a wee pint in McCabes sometimes before i get the train home from work. Everyone's always friendly

Very good pub fayre in a nice comfortable, friendly bar environment! It wasn't until our third visit we realised that there is a large, plush, well decorated restaurant at the back of the pub accessed through a short corridor. The menu is extensive, meals are varied, well cooked and well presented. The sharing platter is a must try dish, which is about the £9.00 mark and is huge with a good assortment of items, including the usual, plus chicken wings and nachos. Their Fish & Chips is a large portion and beautifully cooked as is the Chilli Con Carne! The service is very friendly an efficient. It's open when many other bats are closed! Recommended!

Good food, friendly welcoming staff, excellent value for money. Very nice pub.

Good choice of menu good prices staff nice a lovely fire going on in the hearth brilliant on a cold day

Go here quite regular because of beer garden where I can smoke to ma hearts content not like some other establishments in Largs where there is segregated or no smoking in their outside areas ... always find staff friendly here

What a great meal me and my daughter had last week, two bifg steaks and a glass of wine for a pound, eat your heart out mr. Witherspoon!! Wonderful service from Mick Hughes and clare. xxx
