Went to the Hogmany Party and had a blast. Food was excellent, freindly and efficient bar staff, value for money, even had table service all night. To top it all the pipe band played in the pub just before midnight. Brilliant night and we will certainly be back. Thank You to all the staff. Xxxx

We booked for 7 people for my Husbands 50th so we could watch rugby. Great atmosphere and very friendly attentive staff. Great pub for all ages. Fantastic drinks menu and we loved the tablet...Thanks for a great day.

Love it, the food, the atmosphere the bar staff they certainly know how to look after you I would rather go here for food as its independent it's my 2ND home I would certainly recommend it to anyone, so give it a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Celebrated my birthday here last night with friends, had an absolutely brilliant night in McGintys. As always the food was lovely and the staff & service were next to none. We will definitely be returning. Thanks guys!

Can’t fault the quality of food, or the service. Staff went out their way to make sure a good night was had. You have to try the steak pie - delicious!

Absolutely brilliant they saved my hen shine we were supposed to be at the foundry and they messed up big time by getting the booking wrong , we arrived at mcginty's and they were fantastic sorted out tables , waited on us hand and foot can't thank them enough . Thank you guy's so much Isla x

11 of us went here to the Hogmanay party on Saturday. The Staff were excellent very pleasant and quick service. Meal was lovely too. All in all a very enjoyable evening, finishing with a pipe band who were fab! cheers!! ��

food was lovely, I had chilli bowl and for me personally it was too salty but still very nice and staff fantastic

Enjoyed my meal at McGinty's on wednesday night. The only criticism was coleslaw on my plate, that was not asked for, wasn't on menu, that tainted my chicken gougons and chips. If it must be offered, please put it in a separate pot to add as required. Otherwise enjoyed my visit, will look forward to my next visit to see if my suggestion is taken up.

Was going to say how nice this place is, but was let down by the fact that my 15 yr old son could not stop for a cola with me unless we bought a main meal. This may be a law or something in Scotland but was embarrassing for staff to enforce. Place was very quiet and late afternoon, a rule I don't understand

I was in on Friday I think it was I was not impressed my food was warm with cold bits I had mince & tattles which wasn’t up to its usel standard & ice cream which had bits in it as thow it had been defrosted @ frozen again but wasn’t to bad just bits of it & it was a good deal when I was in I only payed £10 for a meal & a dessert which is great I’ve been here a handful of times & it has been great the staff were friendly as always very nice staff you have but disappointed not the usual Standard don’t think I’ll be back for food unless things improve but will be back for a drink very good deal thow great place but not a good experience I am sure things will improve maybe this was just a one off I would still recommend this place thow ���

I ordered from here Via Deliveroo I had the mcgintys burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne.

My chips were cold and got hardly any chips my burger was a bit on the cold side but it was edible and my girlfriends lasagne felt like it had just been heated up in a microwave and was also on the cold side she also hardly got any chips aswell. It was a shame as I have heard nothing but good reviews from this place.
