Love eating on a boat and the kids love it to the foods great and the tea time special is great value .

Situated just off the canal cycle path in the centre of Clydebank, this has to be one of the best chippies in town. The outdoor seating area is bliss to sit in on a summer evening.

Great place for takeaways and sitting in. I'm not even a fan of chip shop food at all but I definitely make an exception for this.

Delicious fish and chip shop and it's also a bit of a tourist attraction too.

Try to order ahead at peak times if you're after a takeaway as it can be quite busy.

Also, try the gravy, it's amazing.

They have a bit upstairs for eating in and have a good menu that isn't just chip shop food.

They obviously do takeaway and they deliver as well.
Location is great with plenty of parking.

I am Scottish and now live 'down south' with my wife and kids and they always look forward to going whenever we are in Glasgow visiting family.

Visits (there will almost certainly be return visits) to this local eatery will leave you with a lovely taste in your mouth and a comfortable feeling in your purse or wallet. The menu has something for everyone and prices are for suprisingly generous servings.
Run by a genuine local who knows his client base well, the extensions currently being carried out to the 'ship' can only add to the 'enjoyability' of this terrific local amenity.

It was clean and tidy. We where seated as soon as we arrived. Service began within 10 minutes of sitting and we felt no preasure to order. The quality of the service was good I'd. The food was all served hot. I would recomend a visit here and I'll define type be going back

Whether sitting in or taking away, McMonagles always has tasty food, good service and a great location. If you're visiting Clydebank you should definitely check it out.
