Videos of your training - This is a reason why videos and photos can be so beneficial when training. - Today my client @fionarowan and I were working on her squat position under the bar. After some pre Glute activation work we worked on improving depth of the squat.... - These videos are only a few minutes apart after a ‘debrief’ then the next set produced some good depth. - It wasn’t that long ago when this same client was squatting with most weight on one side, knee falling in and also a slight rotation in the torso. I wear a smile most days, to help others have a better day. - I’m a very proud person, also extremely stubborn and this post wasn’t really something I wanted to share but if it helps you then it helps me. - I really didn’t want to workout today, I wanted to make excuses again and not go but I decided I would force myself to go to CrossFit @unit4crossfit . I pushed myself where I would usually stop and rest, legs were burning and telling me to take a break but I kept going to ...prove that I could do it. - Every single one of us deals with shit on a daily basis. Some more than we really need to. - We even take on other people’s problems before we deal with our own in a bid to help them feel better. - Most of you will see me as a confident person when behind the mask is someone who generally suffers low self confidence and a large degree of anxiety. - I deal with it poorly but lucky enough to have a few people who I can speak to about it which is something I’ve tried to do more of recently and it is helping. - If you have anything like this playing on your mind, try find someone you can speak to about it, it will surprise you how many people can help by just listening. Just a bit of messing about today. Worked up deadlifts in sets of 10 Before upping the weight and dropping to 1-4 reps. Pulled 190kg but failed at 200kg in two attempts. - Working on some handstand push ups but I’m focusing on the kick up, hold and eccentric lowering at the moment. Really need to wind those elbows in but videos help you realise what to work on. -...
