Went for a friends birthday. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and brilliant meal. Really enjoyed it.

The best Turkish meal I've ever have. I really don't know why this restaurant is not completely full: the quality, variety and price is exceptional. Honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in here in Cambridge.

Mixed grill was very tasty, customer service was excellent and we received complimentary desserts. Closest to authentic turkish cuisine you will find anywhere in UK. Will go back ..

I absolutely love the mixed grill here. We have eaten at over 20 different Turkish restaurants in the east of England and can still not believe the all round best one is in our home town. There are things other restaurants do better like parts of a meze, such as including halloumi which we love. However, for all round blinding quality, portion size and tasty meat we just cannot find better! From East Road the place does not look that much but this in no way reflects the quality of the food. The houmous and bread is also a big favourite as a starter for us! Well done all at the Merhaba and thanks for all the great meals we have had with you. James and Kirstie.

Absolutely brilliant. We lived in Turkey for two years and this place is as authentic as it gets. The staff is friendly, food is amazing and the environment is perfect! I recommend to a lot of people!

Decor is quite nice and a bit Turkish with nice pictures on the wall. We ordered one mixed grill and one roast lamb on a bed of aubergine puree. The mixed grill was great, a whole plate of different meats, but I was annoyed that for the SAME price my dish had a tiny portion of small pieces of lamb and the puree was not as described. It was cold yoghurt with very few small pieces of aubergine and no tahini - it only tasted of plain yoghurt. The menu prices should reflect the amount of meat you get, in my opinion. In most places a mixed grill does cost more. The smaller dish was very overpriced.

Rude staff. They mock people in Turkish in front of the customer.

I had lam shish was very chewy .salad is not fresh . When we come out we was still hangry hhh . Small dish and also expencive . After all the staff they didnt do any thing abou it all she sed ill tell the sheaf . Moust of restuant if some thing wrong with u food they will change it for you .
