Impressive country house and gardens

Fantastic visit to Mellerstain House towards the end of their season. The house has some incredible features and artwork, clearly a lot of work has been put in to keep everything preserved and accessible. The grounds are an excellent walking opportunity with plenty of nice photo spots. Gardens are kept to a high standard. About £8 for house and garden access, bargain!

Lovely house. Exrensive grounds including lake. Plenty of walks. Cafe and children's play area complete the package.
