We're still in the middle of our visit but no complaints. Site is well maintained by pleasant and helpful staff. Toilet, shower and other facilities are excellent. Very central for the town itself and for dog owners has a walking and exercise area. This is our first visit and won't be our last.

User

This was our second visit to Melrose Gibson Park and again it’s been a very positive experience. From the professional checking in to the friendly checking out. The park, toilets/showers are spotlessly clean as is the whole park. The wardens were very approachable, helpful with advise on walks etc. and very friendly. Look forward to returning again. Thank you 😊

This is the second time we have visited this site and we are not disappointed. There is something for everyone lots of walking along the tweed, nice dog friendly pubs serving great food and great shops and excellent butchers shops, the site it’s self is spotless fantastic facilities and level and large pitches some of which are fully serviced what’s not to like

User

This is our second visit in 3 years, nice wardens they keep the site spotless including the toilets and showers, nice area the wee town handy for shops, coop just outside the gates nice walks Down by the river

User

Site is in a great location in a lovely town. Everything in easy walking distance with a nice selection of shops, lovely river walk and a really interesting abbey. Good bus services to nearby towns too. We will definitely be back.

User

Our first time on a CMC site. Lovely site wardens very helpful and friendly. Site very tidy and facilities spotless. Lovely town everything you need in walking distance. We will be back

User

Lovely site, well maintained and looked after. Only a short trip into Galashiels and it's right in Melrose town centre.

The wardens sadly only here for a short time, Laura and Norrie (and Beth the dog) are really lovely.

User

Lovely site, clean warm toilet block, very friendly wardens super walks and fantastic food at the Station Hotel, we will be back.

User

Lovely quiet site. The wardens are really nice and helpful. My parents are disabled and we were given a pitch next to the toilet block. Everything is kept nice and clean and there is lots to do close by. Would definitely recommend this.

User

Lovely location and a short walk into the town. The pitches are well spaced too. Shame we had bad weather but we will visit again in the summer:)

User

Lovely area..Defo worth a visit.. Beautiful well kept site

User

Just spent our first wkend away in the motorhome this year at this site and we were not disappointed. Co op at the site gate and the town is a stone throw away. Loads of places to eat and have a drink that are dog friendly. On a fully serviced pitch so had water a drain and tv connection. There are plenty of room between each pitch and bushes to separate (perfect hight not to block the sun) Fairly flat site with clean toilet/showers . Really dog friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10

User

I can’t praise MGP enough, the venue is superbly kept and the amenities are immaculate.

We very much hope to visit again.

Thank you so very much for such a enjoyable stay.

User

First visit for us, ideal location for the town and surrounding attractions. Wardens very welcoming and site well maintained. Ideal dog walk on site to give our four legged friend a bit of freedom.

User

First time here, passed plenty of times on way to Highlands, we will definitely be back. The Eildon Hills are a great walks and our two dogs love it.

User

First time ever on a site with the membership (first solo trip since family got the motorhome last month).

Upon arrival at the clearly indicated area to pull up and hop out to reception to book in and pay. I was greeted but a lovely lady and gentleman (the wardens). I received a really warm welcome. Explained to as to where things were on site, and the gentleman kindly guided my as I reversed into the bay. I found this especially helpful as it’s my first solo trip and first visit to this park.

I was well situated in the 2nd bay as you come on site which is right by the facilities.

The overall site was beautiful. From the areas for us all to park our vehicles to how clean and tidy the toilets and showers are!

I enjoyed a take away from a Chinese establishment in Galashiels who delivered right to the gate. They call when they are here.

There is fab walks on the door step of the site to the river passed the rugby club. My dog is loving her wee adventure.

I’m here for two nights so it’s only day/night one but I am very very impressed with the helpful wardens and the site.

Fantastic site very clean and well maintained

User

The park is a nice site which we have used in the past and has always been very welcoming but on this occasion we did not receive a very cordial welcome from Linda one of the wardens she was complaining we were early, that we could not get access till 12.00, it was 11.20 we had arrived neither of us had approached the office and were patiently waiting in our car she even suggested we should have stopped in a layby somewhere and waited until it was time to continue to the site, we were not the only ones to receive her attitude issues as other campers found out when they went to book in at the office

User

Lovely site, friendly wardens, close to charming town. Lots of dog walks, what’s not to love! Thank you.
