Melt

In a world of health food shops and juice bars, Melt is a wonderful panacea. I've always been a fan of doing something simple, but doing it well, and Melt achieves that in buckets, a simple grilled cheese sandwich with enough options to cater for all. Some have mentioned it's a bit expensive, well, you could think that, but for what you get I'd say it's fair. £5 for a classic, but when I unwrapped it I feared i wouldn't be able to finish it (I soldiered on and managed it!)... And it was awesome.
Takeaway only, limited seating just for the 5-10 minute wait for your order. Staff were lovely. I'm not sure my ageing heart will cope with regular visits... But I'll certainly be back for the occasional treat... Perhaps the pulled pork option 😀

Oh my gawd🤤🤤, the mac and cheese sandwich and cherry bakewell milk shake sorted my oktoberfest hangover instantly. Lovely people and really nice atmosphere.

Tasted great but what I got looked like it had been kicked through the kitchen. Would have been better served in a trough. If you're looking for something that you can eat by hand on the go without half of it falling into your lap then these are not the toasties for you

When my fiance said we were going somewhere for cheese toasties I was skeptical. I expected a bog standard ham and cheese toasty. Oh no, that's not what I got. I had a pulled pork and Mac & cheese toasty. Or what seemed like 2 toasties. Probably the best sandwich I've ever eaten. It truly is insane.

Unbelievably good. Huge portions of deliciousness and fantastic service, cannot recommend more

Good staff with nice toasties but are a bit too expensive, £5.80 for cheese, bacon and some haggis in bread.
Not enough seating! best to consider this a takeaway place.

The bruiser is off the chain. They also do exciting weekly specials!
