Memorabilia Pack Company Description

The idea of replicating paper ephemera is not new. In the 1960s Jackdaws publishers were producing educational wallets containing facsimiles, covering subjects such as Mary Queen of Scots and the Boer War. However, the idea of creating a package for football clubs was ground breaking. As a consequence of this “pub idea”, Stuart Reid contacted fellow Hearts supporter Neil Manderson and the company was formed in Edinburgh in 1995. In the following five years the company produced attractive packages for most of the bigger clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Celtic and Rangers.

Deciding to diversify we immediately turned our attention to other historical subjects, resulting in a range of small “replica packs”. Subjects vary, including Victorians, World War II, Railways, Motoring, 1960s, and Titanic.

Obtaining original material is the biggest challenge when producing a pack. Items are sourced via private collectors, ephemera fairs, museum archives, auctions, etc. Copyright then has to be cleared.

Unlike most other publishers our packs are printed and collated in the UK.
