We discovered this gem our first night in Edinburgh. Each dish was absolutely delicious -- fresh, so flavorful, hot and beautifully presented. The restaurant is small and intimate and great for conversation. The waiters are so gracious and attentive. Don't miss it.

Had a lovely meal with cheerful service. We had a prawn dish and two veggie dishes, all bursting with flavour and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend folk giving it a try.

Went here on New Year's Day with family and friends looking for a nice dinner - food was just ok, but the decor and atmosphere were absolute awful/ bare tables with paper place mats and a colour scheme from a DIY nightmare - orange walls!! Appreciate that it was New Year's Day but they would have been better staying closed as their heart was not not in it - no atmosphere, cold food and just a pretty unpleasant dinner experience. Real shame as used to be good - stop scrimping on the lack of tableware, get some decent paint and concentrate on the food - you are a restaurant after all. Had more pleasant picnics on cold windy days!!

There are lot of better South Indian restaurant in town.. But if you are right outside the restaurant do hop in, but never order chicken biryani. It is just rice dipped in oil. The chicken tikka starter is really good. And dosa are safe bet over here.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh and most under-rated. Food is delicious. I have introduced many people to Mezbaan and they have all loved it. A group of us return here faithfully every couple of months when we have a night out.
