Mezbaan South Indian Restaurant

This is a brilliant restaurant that also does deliveries and take aways. The food is excellent and the staff are so polite, friendly and attentive. We used to go to Tanjoor until we found this, but not any longer. Easy to find, just off Tollcross, so it is well serviced by buses to get you there.

Always my first stop for South Indian refresher when in Edinburgh. Highly recommended.

Loved the Masala Dosa! Would definitely go back. Lovely food. Good prices!

Good food at reasonable prices, very large portions. Lovely friendly staff. Only one disappointment, they were not serving Masala dosa the night we went which was a shame as this was what we especially wanted to try.

Authentic Indian cooking. Lamb Madras was stonkingly good . Maybe try the Vindaloo next !! No Ceylon though. Plenty Pork dishes though !!!! Very clean establishment, price around £8 for main course. Waiters friendly. This restaurant used to trade under Sharmania if I remember correctly we called it Shamy Annie's locally

A bit slow, and a few things were not available. E.g naan.
