We've waited 18months this try this place, and we were not disappointed! It was AMAzing! Food was honestly the best Turkish food we've had outside of Turkey itself. Really full of flavour and freshly made.

We first tried to get a table when we visited the Edinburgh fringe Festival in 2015, but it was fully booked (and I can see why!)

So yesterday we were back in Edinburgh and went to Meze Meze for lunch. Honestly. Delicious. And so worth the wait. We can't wait to come back!!! :)

We were visiting Edinburgh for the weekend and happened to stumble across this fabulous place! Food was amazing, staff were great, atmosphere was fab! Would highly recommend!

We were here last night the food was amazing, service was excellent and extremely reasonably priced I wish we were in the area for longer to visit again!

We stumbled on this hidden gem by complete accident and were so thrilled. An amazing meal, great wine, well priced and very attentive staff. We decided on the meze feast for two, but wanted vegetarian. They literally brought out every vegetarian item on the menu for us. The tzatiki was our favourite but we also loved the hommus and baba ganouj (in that order). The grilled veggies in yogurt sauce - also amazing. Dolmades were perfect, and I also loved the halloumi. Couscous, mushrooms, artichokes and arancini were delicious and made us total gluttons. The bread and potatoes were great but thankfully we didn’t fill up on these like amateurs might. That said, we ordered extra olives. Whoops. What a great meal. Highly, highly recommend.

We recently had a trip to Edinburgh and stayed overnight. We tried to get into Meze Meze, but they were really busy at the time we wanted to eat. However, we really fancied eating here, so we went back and booked a table at a later time. We were not disappointed! The staff were attentive and friendly (even the smiley chef came out and said hello!). The waiter advised us about the various dishes (offering meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan and any other required options). We decided to go for a pescatarian set Meze. Wow! We had so many different dishes that made our tastebuds dance! The quality of the food was exceptional. Sadly we were unable to finish the food, such were the quantities! We definitely recommend this restaurant!

We had the meze feast, it was fabulous food. I also highly recommend the Turkish wine Yakut, seriously good.

The service was also excellent.

Spotless clean,nice decor,Greek music playing in the background,waitress very pleasant and helpful,the soup, meat dishes, chicken dishes and shared platter of puddings where to die for,just the right amount of portions to share,we will be coming back to this wee gem of a place when we go back to Edinburgh in the near future.

My friend and I had an excellent lunch yesterday. We chose 3 Meze dishes each for under £12. We then shared the 6 dishes plus pita bread, every dish was delicious. My friend then had baklava & I had creme brûlée, it was the best I have ever tasted. I have been here 5 times over the past 2 years and each time has been a 5* experience!

Great food and service! Myself and my friend shared the banquet and it was fabulous! Really good value and gave us the opportunity to share beautiful food, drink wine and chat! Loved it so much going back with my mum on Monday! ��

Good Vegan options and well labelled. Lovely food. I'm not usually too keen on Falafels as I find them a bit dry, but these were the best I've ever tasted. The food was very filling and my partner and I had to leave a lot of it. So I would suggest ordering 4 Meze's between 2 rather than 4 each, but other than that I would highly recommend. Friendly service as well.

First visit to this restaurant. Three of us had meze well it was amazing , cooked really nice and plenty of it . Will definitely be back , the baklava was the best I have ever had . Service was great and overhaul very good value for money , recommend a visit if your in the area .

Fabulous place! In short: food is more than perfect, staff is always attentive and lovely and most of all, you are going to feel like on holiday! Especially if you have ever been to Greece or Turkey. I am in love with express lunch when you order 3 meze plates of your choice for £10 and the chef's choice - selection of 5 hot and 5 cold meze plates. Definitely give it a try especially if you like those flavours!

Delicious food, kind & helpful staff and a lovely authentic atmosphere. We had the chef's choices - the plates just kept coming and we were not disappointed with any of them. I definitely recommend this fabulous little treasure...make sure you reserve a table to avoid any disappointment.

Amazing experience here last night. The food was delicious. Very informative & attentive staff, without being overpowering. Tzatziki was best I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot...I love the stuff! Vine leaves & sigara böreği, calamari & humous all delicious too. Definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved it! So much food, excellent service and very good value for money. Will return and tell people about it!

This is wee hidden gem. We had the Meze 5 cold and 5 hot dishes between 3. Loads of food, a good selection and all delicious. The falafels were the best I’ve ever tasted. Well worth the money if you are In Edinburgh check it out.
