The pies are so good. And so was the baked pear tart thing that I can’t remember the correct name of, other flavours were apple, mixed berry and one other. I highly recommend coming here.
Freshly baked goods that are truly mouth watering. We drive here from Glasgow just to get their steak pies which they sell hundreds of daily. The tea room next to the bakery serves everything that the shop sells as well. It can get busy which is a true reflection of how good the food is.
Nice food. Good service. Unusual seating plan.
Lovely bread. Excellent service. With a visit
This place was great. Enjoyed an enormous ham and cheese sandwich in the morning—on delicious bread. Also tried the Bridie (sp?), and Macaroni pie. Very tasty. I had them cold, and apparently they are better when heated up, but during a three hour hike at Three Sisters—I devoured them and they tasted amazing. Tea was very good, too.
Was staying at strathyre lodges and went here for breakfast . Had the full breakfast and I was exactly that after eating it . Delicious cooked breakfast and will definitely be back when we visit again .
Speedy service, scrumptious food and very cozy!
A nice, warm atmosphere, with friendly service and great food
Traditional bakery with tea room attached. Choose your cake and have it with a cuppa. The eclairs are recommended.
The tea room is a great place for breakfast. We wanted the vegetarian breakfast but thought it might by too much. We got a smaller version for the price of the regular small breakfast, though it wasn't on the menu. We could even assemble it ourselves choosing five ingredients from the vegetarian breakfast. Although the breakfast was a little salty, the service makes it a five star experience.
Nice little cafe - bought some cakes and were offered some free loaves
It's a good artisan bakery but we don't think it's as good as it used to be.
For such a small shop the selection and quality of the goods on offer are second to none.
Their pies are to die for, as a pie officianado you can't get better....try the Steak and Black pudding. it is truly a king amongst pies.Your pie grail quest ends here.
BTW the reviewer who complained that the pies were dry and 'could do with some gravy' needs to go back to eating at McDonalds and KFC. To add insult to injury says 'gravy granules and hot water' I think we can guess at the culinary delights which this person is familiar with....they always know when their meal is ready ........a distinctive 'ping' can be heard.
