Midlothian Community Planning Partnership
Midlothian Community Planning Partnership Description
The Community Plan for Midlothian is produced by a set of agencies delivering public services to the community. It sets out objectives for Midlothian that have been agreed by partner agencies and local communities. It is a legal duty under the Local Government Act 2003 for Councils to coordinate the creation and implementation of a plan.
The plan provides a framework for delivering our long-term vision for the area and focuses on achieving measurable improvements to the quality of life for all in Midlothian. The Community Plan sets the context for joint working between the Council and its partner agencies in the public, voluntary and private sector .
