Our aim is to be recognised as the premier trout fishery in the North of Scotland, providing an enjoyable and memorable day out for all!
The Fishery
The digging of the fishery began in April 2008, taking just under 12 months to complete. There are three ponds filled with high quality full tailed good fighting rainbow, blue and brown trout.
The Bridge Pool: This is our bait pool and is stocked with fish from 1. 5lbs to 3lbs with the occasional surprise bigger fish. Novice anglers are welcome to practice their fly fishing on a catch and release ticket at a discounted price.
The Mill Pool: This is the largest loch being approx 4. 5 acres in size.
The Waterfall: Some amazing sport can be had on this loch with the dry fly.
The land around the pond has been beautifully landscaped to fit in with the surrounding area. The depth of the Mill pond and the Waterfall pond varies by up to 30 feet. No two parts of the ponds are the same; there are deep holes, shelves and shallow areas.
Family Fun
There are tables located around the ponds for families to enjoy a picnic. A barbeque is also located on the deck for use by all anglers and their families. In the shop located at the fishery there is a hot drinks machine with refreshments and snacks available. Why not sit back and relax in our comfy sofas for those rainy days.
The shop has a range of fishing equipment, from fishing line to rods. There is a large selection of flies. We have rods available for hire for the bait pond and for the fly ponds. Located in the shop are toilet facilities including a disabled toilet. There is disabled access to the pond and deck.
The fishery is the perfect place for all levels of experience, whether you are a complete beginner or a skilled angler.
