Sooooo Millennium Hotel we visited tonight and with elderly parents ... the service from Scott was nothing short of exceptional good food good service ... well done and a lovely view of the Christmas lights ... thank you

User

Popped in to the bar yesterday for a few drinks with my friend before we got the train home. Lovely hotel, fantastic cocktail menu and the barman was an absolute gem. He was so polite and friendly and patient with my fussy mood over cocktails. Will definitely be back. x

User

My partner booked here for my birthday hotel was lovely and loved our room the prices for drinks are amazing and bar staff provide a great service we didn't try any food here but will be sure too try it next time as we plan on coming back I would recommend this hotel thanks staff at millennium hotel for helping make my birthday extra special

User

Lovely hotel in a great location. Had views of the square from our huge room with separate living room area. Staff were so friendly and helpful, 5 star customer service.

User

Had a lovely afternoon tea food was really good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

User

Afternoon Tea was absolutely delightful one of the Best in Glasgow, top class.

User

Stayed here Saturday for the first time, on arrival we were given 6 free drinks vouchers which was a nice surprise and the receptionist and barman were very friendly and polite. We had booked the luxury suite but it isn't very 'luxury' the room is very dated, bed was comfy and room was clean. We had mentioned we were there for a special occasion and they left us a complimentary bottle of white wine in our room. We ordered room service for breakfast which came quickly and nothing was any trouble for the staff. Overall good location, clean, friendly staff, rooms just need updated. Would stay again but wouldn't book a suite

User

To be honest expected so much more. The food was ok nothing special limited menu for Groupon deal. The service was awful. 35 mins wait for drinks order another 10 on that for starter followed very promptly with main. Another good 20 mins after making sweet order a waitress asked if it was us waiting for desert as there was no table order on the chitty!! After 2 hrs 50 mins had to ask for the bill then no one came back so I could pay. Guess I won't be going back there anytime soon. Such a shame first time there and not impressed.

User

Stayed here last night hotel is in a great location were greeted on arrival by pleasant receptionist and checked in quickly our room on the third floor overlooked George square however although a large room it was very dated and in need of a freshen up.The bed was not really comfortable as there was a dip in the middle that you rolled into constantly definitely needs replaced with new mattress.Going for breakfast in the morning we were given pots of coffee promptly by our server and ordered two cooked breakfasts

and waited 50mins for it to be served why does it take so long think this is unacceptable don’t think you should be left sitting for that length of time.Maybe this is something to be addressed.

User

Booked an Groupon voucher for afternoon tea for my friends birthday, when I booked I stated that it was a friends birthday if there anything they could do to mark the occasion, however nothing was done....disappointed as I work in a 4 star hotel & when we get requests we always note them & do something to make the guest/customer feel special.

However apart from that the afternoon tea was delicious & couldn't fault it & definitely would come back, prime location to sit & chat, relax & watch the world go by. More tea would have been nice however no waitress/waiter came near us after the stand went down.

User

After looking forward to coming all day... we had a very disappointing experience we've been here two hours for one course.

Took 40mins for a fruit juice and a half pint to come and then roughly another half an hour after that for food when food and drinks were ordered together our order had to be taken twice.. then the bill came and was wrong one girl was fantastic hence the stars for her.

User

Was in the bar next door. We all used to drink there on a regular basis. The front door is broken and we had to enter by the fire exit. The stock in the bar is so depleted you are stuck with what's left. So think it might be the last for a while until they bring it back to a standard we can all enjoy.

User

Stayed here last night ..... cleanliness gone...but overall room .Very disappointing .... paid £160 for a Saturday night near mid August ...very tired room badly in need of refurbishment & small...was what Ud expect in the 80's... very nice reception staff / very welcoming but no other dealings otherwise. Would not stay again for that price ...George square views - yes ok but a rip off at that price!! Shame ... couldn't wait to check out to be honest.

User

Hot tap fell off the bath so couldn’t have a bath or shower as everything was linked. Also waited over an hour for food (despite nobody else waiting) while staff chatted amongst themselves. The reason? The ticket didn’t come out in the kitchen as it was jammed. Nice building, good location, but would probably give it a miss next time.

User

Booked a table in the conservatory for 7.00. When we arrived girl said she could not give us a table for 4 in the conservatory after speaking to her she decided she could indeed sit us in the place we had booked. After being seated we sat for 45 min then my husband had to find someone who could offer us a drink which took 10 mins to arrive after a further 15 min they came to take our food order which took a further 40 mins. The food was excellent but we were all disappointed in everything else. Never again !!!!!

User

was in hotel last night for xmas party night went to collect my coat at end of night and cloakroom attendant had gave my coat to someone else manager was not very helpful atall so whoever has took my river island grey wool coat and left a boohoo one plz return it to hotel and pick up your own one

User

Went here for afternoon tea, food was adequate but the service was terrible had to go over many times to get refills and clean up out dishes we would aswell have made it ourselves and saved the hassle!

User

I went here with family for Christmas Day dinner and there isn’t one good thing I can say about it. We were some of the first to arrive and yet we got served last out of all the tables, it was a good hour and half into being there before we even got our starters. I had to switch seats with my brother because there was a drip coming down on my head from the roof of the conservatory, not really what I would expect from a hotel at the standard they portray. The main meal was a massive disappointment, the sausages wrapped in bacon were raw, the “roast” potatoes were tiny shrivelled up and tasteless and clearly came out of a pack and instead of brussel sprouts it was some mashed up cabbage. The dessert was no better a rock hard cheesecake which again was out a box nothing fresh about it. For the price of £59 per person I expected a higher quality of food and service and don’t see at all how they can justify the prices they charge, I could’ve done a better job myself. Very poor service overall and would not recommend anyone ever goes here.

Having booked the Millennium Hotel in Glasgow with four friends for my 50th birthday celebrations, I was absolutely appalled by the lack of empathy or judgement from the Guest relations manager, Alison Taborda.

My close friend Ms Lamont took unwell around 7pm shortly after we arrived. She was taken to hospital and was kept in for 4 nights only getting home today. On leaving the hotel, I queried whether our friend could have a refund or another stay in the near future once she was well.

Prior, to being Allowed home, whilst in hospital, my friend received an email stating that she would not receive a refund or another stay without payment as the hotel could not rent her room that night.

Not quite the treatment a loyalty member deserved!

Appalling Ms Taborda. Shame on you. Here’s hoping this is seen and acknowledged by your senior management!!
