Millionaire Hair Extensions

I'm not one for posting reviews but felt I had to after being told about the distressing experience of the below review.

I have worn all types of extensions available from Millionaire Hair except pre bonded. I find both the service and the quality of hair provided to be second to none at completely competitive prices.

In fact the quality is so good that with correct maintenance and after care my weave which I haven't worn in about a year is neatly stored in a drawer for when I want it back in. My full head of stick tapes have been in and out several times and ate stored in a similar fashion as I'm currently try rocking the natural look.

Vanya herself is the epitome of professional. I have found her customer service to be kind, understanding and more importantly vastly knowledgeable about the world of hair extensions to the extent of advising me NOT to have new extensions fitted at one point as my hair itself was too weak. I find it hard to believe a callous uncaring business woman as described below would have such a conversation with a customer in such a sensitive fashion. She even trimmed my fringe that day so I didn't feel rubbish.

What a gem of a salon. What a gem of a woman.

I just came on here to write a review after having a 'maintenance' appointment on my weave. I was pretty shocked to read the review below (I did have a bit of trouble making sense of it but the 'tone' seems pretty angry!), my experience of Millionaires couldn't be more different. I really hope it doesn't put anyone off going there.

I can't imagine the staff there being unreasonable, it's one of the friendliest salons I've ever been in. I'm not a 'typical' client for hair extensions and I was pretty nervous and undecided for a long time before I took the plunge. The girls were always happy to take the time to answer my endless questions.

Before I had a weave, I had micro rings (at that time Millionaires didn't do weaves) which I also loved. When it was time to remove them I decided to do it myself at home and got into a right fankle. I failed to remove a couple and ended up with a huge knot of my own hair wrapped around them. After two days of trying to work the knot out I honestly thought I was going to have to cut it out. I was devastated but decided to contact the salon to see if they could help. I was asked to go in to see them and one of the girls worked away at it for nearly two hours until the knot was out. She then refused payment but I forced her to accept something as I was so grateful! To me, this just doesn't sound like the picture painted by the previous reviewer!

My weave is as soft and luxurious as the day I had it fitted. The girls there are so friendly and helpful. They gave me loads of aftercare advice - which I've strictly adhered to. Having a weave (mine is a double thickness so tons of hair) is an investment and does require some extra maintenance but the effort is totally worth it. I get my roots coloured at a different salon, I've had no issues and lots of positive feedback.

When complete strangers stop you in the street to compliment you on your hair, you know it's looking good!

JUST A WARNING TO EVERYBODY! DO NOT USE MILLIONAIRE HAIR EXTENSIONS PAISLEY.

5 weeks ago I paid £225 for an "LA WEAVE" of double drawn 100% remy human hair.

Having ALREADY HAD A FAULTY SET from them which I never said anything about this is what happened to my latest set which I got fitted on the 9th February.

After visiting my hairdresser (one who I cannot recommend enough and have been going to for 17 years). Long story short: after 5 weeks she seen the state of my extensions... frizzy and dry. After it had been washed it only got worse... clumped and congealed together (exactly what was wrong with the first set) with the bonds actually pulling at my scalp.

After brushing it for 2 hours all the weave was doing was re-matting (something common with cheap/over processed hair)

Eventually it had to be taken out as the pain of brushing was too much and the hair was in a horrific state.

Allowing The company to fix this I got the response "well it's the way it's been washed". MY hairdresser has been washing extensions for over 2 decades and has experience in all things hair! Also it was washed the same way Millionaire Hair has.

Therefore I'd just like to warn everybody not to use them! Incredibly unprofessional and I will be taking this further as 5 weeks of a weave is embarrassingly short.

*yes I used all the right after care etc, had extensions in for a good while and know to use the right shampoo/conditioner*

MILLIONAIRE HAIR?? A BIG NO NO!!
WOULDN'T TOUCH WITH A TEN FOOT POLE
