Well I can't promise weather like we have had over the weekend, ☀️🌞 I can't even promise it will be dry. To be honest ....it might snow. You just never know in Scotland. BUT ....I can offer a Monday to Friday break in pretty little Rose Cottage, which has a lovely garden to sit in ( if it's ☀️)... Or cosy storage heaters and Netflix ( if it's 🌧️☔) The dates are 29th April until 3rd May ( Monday till Friday) and I'm discounting this wee break to £199 . Now you can't say fairer than that. The cottage sleeps two/ three and we welcome up to two dogs. www.millportbreaks.scot

It's a brisk chilly wind , but dry!

A few folk have asked me exactly where the new flat is, which is still slowly being renovated. If you look at the centre of this first frame, the smaller, cream and orange window, two storey building is ours and our flat is the most left hand( as you face it) downstairs window. Kames Bay is just a few moments walk .

The Millport Victorian Festival is on 27th April , and they have a Facebook page. Lots of fun activities, including an event at the Crocodile to see how many people they can get on him! It's a blowy old day today. I'm on my way home, and noticed that if you stand at the bus stop outside the Garrison, you get a free facial dermabrasion from the sand blowing about. 😊

I had the man from Airbnb to take some photos today. I tried not to get in his way, and hovered about not wanting to sit down in case I messed the cushion placement up. Thought I'd try a few myself , while the cottage was looking so pretty ... I've still got some May availability- the 13th until 17th, so Monday till Friday, is only £240. www.millportbreaks.scot

Rose Cottage ready for its guests this morning. The sun shone and the birds sang, which was a lovely start to the Easter holidays.. I still have some late April availability. From Thursday 25th through till Thursday 2nd May, though any three nights within that is fine. The Victorian Festival is on the weekend of 26th. I don't know much about this, but it's bound to be interesting. www.millportbreaks.scot

Well, what can I Say?! Just back from a weeks stay in Crawford Street. What a lovely, cosy place to stay. Well equipped, comfy sofas, huge comfy bed, crisp fresh bed linen and fresh flowers in the Rooms! Beautiful! Millport gave us the chilled out, relaxing break we needed. The neighbours and locals were very friendly and helpful, the scenery is breath taking, and we'll definitely be coming back again! I think Bella swam more than the olympic team this week! We even managed to get a crocodile rock t-shirt! Jen, your customer service is amazing - making sure everthing was perfect! Thank so much and see you next Year!! We visited cosy cottage for a couple of nights between Christmas and New Year with our little dog. We were very impressed with how clean and well equipped the cottage was even down to balls and blankets for the dog. On arrival there was a beautiful basket with goodies in which was a lovely touch.

We loved it and so did the dogs! The cottage is perfect for 2 with a small kitchen/diner but a huge sitting room/bedroom - the garden is enclosed with fencing around 3.5ft high and is a real sun trap which of course the dogs loved! The owner is relaxed about dog visitors - so many times we see cottages advertised as dogs welcome and then read all the additional rules and in some cases steep additional charges. Not so with Rose Cottage - dogs are welcome - the only request is please keep them off the bed which is fair enough. The island has some delightful walks and lovely views. We loved it!

We have just returned from a few wonderful days in Millport, we stayed at 7 Crawford Street which was delightful!

The apartment was cosy with the log burner in the evening (not really necessary due to the warm weather but gorgeous all the same) yet the bedroom was spacious and we all slept well.

I can highly recommend this apartment as a lovely place to stay in Millport.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage last week with our dogs and definitely felt at home. We loved staying on the island and really enjoyed the beach. What a warm friendly place to have a holiday. Thanks Jen ☺.

Such a fab wee place. Clean, warm and cosy. Dog friendly. Great host. Our long weekend away was just great. A good base for walks, cycles and within easy reach of some great places to eat and drink. We will be back to rose cottage for sure.

Stayed last year in Rose Cottage . We loved it so much we are going back in June this time with all our family taking all off Millport breaks property as we know that the houses will be fantastic and the welcome warm. Can't recommend highly enough .

Stayed at your Crawford street flat last two years. Kids loved it especially the wee train set. Great location and home from home. Hope ur renovations going well!

Stayed at George Street flat last weekend. It was perfect for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend it.

Lovely wee flat beautifully furnished and only a 2 minute walk to the front. Love the fact it's dog friendly and has it's on private garden the only let down being is there's no light as you come down the path to stairs but apart from that everything else is perfectl. Great for a weekend away .

Just back home after a fantastic carefree week at Crawford Street. This was our 3rd stay hear and we have never been disappointed with the accommodation provided. The addition of the log burner has made the flat even more cosier than before. This is a great place to stay with your dog as it is so close to the beach and park. You are within walking distance to everything you need to have a really relaxing break. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the island.

Just back from lovely weekend in Rose Cottage, what a little gem, tucked away but only 5 minutes from the beach. Cottage was just right for us and our dogs, cant recommend it enough, it was so easy, from initial booking to enjoying staying there. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

Hubby and i just got home today after a fab chilled out Christmas break here in Rose Cottage it was so cosy and comfy and wee thouroughly enjoyed our nice walks along the beach front and being out and about with our wee dog .. the cottage is well equiped for your needs and Jen gave the flat lovely finishing Christmas touches to the place the ambience was fab .. thankyou for the hot chocolate mugs and goodie hamper superb customer service experience from booking until and after we departed .. all in all it was fantastic and we will return � .. from Linda and Alistair..

Hi Guys 😊 I would definitely recommend "Cosy Corner" in Millport for a break!! I booked for a few days in October and was blown away with the cottage 💜 It is situated in a lovely quiet area in Millport a few minutes stroll from the beach and is a fantastic place for a holiday 😊 The cottage itself is not called "Cosy Corner" for nothing it is a lovely flat with everything you need for your stay with a great little fire, outstanding shower area and an Amazingly Spacious Bedroom with Extremely Comfortable Bed 💚 Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book again!! ☺ Thanks So Much Jen 💜💛💙💚❤ xx
