About Milrig Boarding Kennels Ltd
Our small luxury boarding kennels at Milrig are based in Kirknewton set in West Lothian’s rural surroundings within easy reach of Edinburgh’s air and rail links. All our dogs are given individual care and attention. Our outdoor facilities include a field and exercise area where our dogs can play and be exercised twice a day.
We love getting to know our holiday guests and have been delighted to welcome back some repeat guests already. Our aim is for your dog to enjoy his /her visit and be happy to return again and again!
We want your dog to feel at home with us, beds and bedding are provided but you are welcome to bring along a favourite blanket or toy to make your dog feel at home. We supply a selection of food both tinned and dry but if we do not stock your pet's brand you may wish to bring your own. Healthy dog treats are given subject to the owner's approval.
Dogs on medication are welcome and are monitored.
Vaccination cards must be produced on admission. We recommend your dog is regularly treated for worms and fleas. Kennel cough vaccination is also recommended.
Inspections are welcome during business hours (weekdays 10. 00-16. 00 & weekends 10. 00-12. 30 - closed Wednesdays) An appointment is appreciated but not necessary.
