Great ideas for travelling around Inverness
This is my list of things to do in and around Inverness, what's your favourite? Caledonian canal(1)-walks, cycling, kayak hire and tuition (explore Highland opposite Minard cottage), (2)boat trips to Loch ness (Jacobite cruises from tomnahurich lock). Castles-(3)Inverness, (4)Urquhart and Cawdor. Waterfalls - (5)foyers, plodda, and Rogie, Walks - around Beauly priory, Craig Phadrig, whinn Park and Ness Islands. Also Culloden and Clava cairns of outlander fame! ... Indoor activities - (6)Botanic Gardens, Inverness leisure, trampoline Park, Eden court theatre. Eating and drinking - (7)clachnaharry inn, macgregors bar, the Mustard seed and the Kitchen. Other towns/areas to visit for a day out including (8)Aviemore, Kingussie, Beauly, Ullapool, Nairn, (9)The Black Isle, (10)Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. And of course the NC 500!

They say 1st impression count - and on this occasion, they really do! .. Such a cosy cottage with wood burner... I'm sure my views wont change when I leave. With a warm welcome from host Marion, this wee cottage may be another one I add to our list of places to stay!.. Watch this space for more updates later in the week!
