Fabulous coffee and lovely ambience. Not recommended if you have allergies - I've been in twice and both times staff was unable to tell me which of their cakes are nut free. That was explained by the cakes being bought from another place and for that reasons they don't know the ingredients. It's the same selection of cakes bought every time - surely the bakery would provide the ingredients list if asked. Ironically, the 'gluten free' cake is perfectly labeled and I could probably get a soy latte with it too.

Nice little bistro, but rather tightly packed. Great staff, attentive and quick, food reasonable...

The food is very good and is a great place for kids and dogs. It is accessible to wheelchair users,(just ask for the ramp). Losing one star as the service can be unreliable. Worth a visit.

Very good breakfast two days running. Orange juice, tea and cooked breakfast. Sit inside or out with lovely views across Portobello beach.

Perfect brunch and coffee spot right on Portobello Beach. Family and pet friendly with great food and service. Their cakes are particularly special. Try the banoffee pie with some Cloud Catcher tea while the kids have ice cream and play in the sand just outside the window overlooking the Firth of Forth. Heaven!

5 stars without a doubt. The seafood pasta was just delicious. My mum loved her burger. The primavera pasta isn't so good as it didn't have much veg. However, the service is great and friendly and the design very pleasing. I have been quite a few times already and now its the place we take visitors as well.

First visit to this great little eatery. We both had the fish and chips, which were of epic proportions. 2 stunningly fresh fish per plate. Home made tartar sauce to die for. My 1 criticism would be the matchstick thin frozen fries. With food this good I'd expect hand cut home made chips.

Lovely evening. Dinner with friends. Food was great. Seafood risotto and linguine cooked to perfection. Good choice of starters too and wine reasonably priced. We hope the lovely girl who served us goes on to have a great career in medicine.
