Dave Vanian . The Damned. 62 this week. My first punk gig... Stirling University 1977, they lasted about 20 minutes, with a reign of cans and bottles decending on them. Gig abandoned. ... But what a 20 minutes . Alegedly they were never paid their £250 fee,for their first one off headling gig in Scotland.

Known of the shop since about 08, just glad to be seeing it still as lively as it was! Good we shop for good wee bargains, nothing is lost in missing records
I love this place,visit it at least once a week.
First visit but I will be back absolutely love the wall art, stair art and floor art. Still amazed I found the 'Kurt Cobain Journals Book' it will be well loved, looked at, and looked after! What else is waiting for me to discover I wonder? : )
Been buying from Misssing since the first week it opened in oswald street.Great shop.Seen it go through from that original wee shop to having 4 or 5 outlets including that big one with 2 floors and back again to just the one shop(and one in paisley).They used to sell the 7" record covers they use but stopped a long time ago don't give you them when you buy either as they used to - still trying to get them to tell me where they get the covers from as they are the best iv'e ever seen but they wont tell me !!!! (Martin - if you read this I need loads ).
