Only had a pot of tea and coffee, but waitress was very friendly, drinks were lovely and very reasonable prices.

Nice cafe style venue in the Ferry with great atmosphere. Had soup and a sandwich which was very nice. Attentive and friendly staff. Full marks for this new venture.

Lovely little place, so warm & welcoming, great selection of sandwiches & yummy cakes & treats, coffee was really good too, great quality!!

Loved the food service excellent but oddly was in day before with my friend and we both ordered a mixture of salad which consisted of giant couscous , artichoke,and quinoa each which was delicious , but today was with my husband and ordered a sandwich and asked for salad to share as per day before and they said they couldn't do it but make an exception today as we had it yesterday with no problem yesterday , but we wouldn't be able to order it again very odd , but would still recommend another small point was we were told we couldn't reserve a table but today there was a table reserved maybe just teething problems but odd all the same but would still go back

In yesterday with my Husband we both had Sandwiches, Tea and Traybake which we really enjoyed. Loved the wooden boxes they were served in. Staff really friendly. Will be back.

First time to Mitchell’s on Saturday it won’t be the last we had coffee & hot chocolate with a cake, the service was very pleasant and cheerful, the decor is very unusual but very nice.

Excellent loved my first visit, Staff very friendly, coffee good and sandwich very tasty. Loved the wee wooden boxes.

Decor fabulous will definitely be back.

Came in with my 2 year old daughter on Saturday evening for a coffee and a sandwich which was lovely. I loved the idea eating it in the wooden crate with the veg crisps it was very well presented and very tasty too.The staff were very friendly and gave my daughter crayons and paper to draw really nice feel of the place there was music playing in the background my daughter was dancing to it.Will deff be going back as a family.

Service was a little on the slow side but I put that down to being newly opened and very busy. Love the decor and coffee was delicious. Look forward to trying out their sharing board with a bottle of wine some time soon.

Lovely place for coffee, drinks, food. However only suggestion the stand alone chairs are so uncomfortable everyone ends up sitting side by side nobody wants to sit on those chairs.

Visited Mitchell's with my parents. Slightly disappointed with the very small menu choice and portions. I was expecting to visit and have a choice of a hot meal as advertised on Facebook however was only offered soup. Visited for birthday lunch and unfortunately left disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely decor, lovely coffee, very busy so the staff were perhaps a bit under pressure as it wasn't overly friendly. My concern is that a lot of the cakes were left uncovered. We were sat at the table right beside where they are displayed and if anyone there were to sneeze or cough or had children with wandering fingers for example they would be exposed to all sorts. For that reason, I didn't order a cake.
