Really pretty place, one of a local franchise. Great deli and cafe - waiting times can apply to be seated, but staff are helpful and so sweet! Good for a brunch and a coffee catch up with friends.

Went in this morning for breakfast with my wife. Ordered a full cooked breakfast. Bacon was seriously over cooked and burned at the edges, the toast was burned, I had to ask for beans (which were supposed to be included) which eventually came in a tiny bowl and were lukewarm, when I pointed out to the waitress there was no sausage she said, "we ran out of sausages". Seriously? And didn't think to mention this when I was placing the order? My wife pointed out the burned bacon and asked the waitress if she would eat that, which received the response, "well I wouldn't eat it because I'm a vegetarian'. Incapable of putting herself int he customer's position and showing any concern. We decided to leave and won't be back. We didn't eat or pay for the food, it was that bad. Nice interior to the place, let down by shabby service and sub-standard food. Expensive, the breakfast is £9.95, if you can't even get a simple cooked breakfast right then there's something seriously wrong. We ended up going round the corner to a place called 'Gorgeous' - a decent full breakfast which was £3 cheaper than Mitchell's!

Great place for a relaxed meal with friends. Stocked with local gin & beer as well as incredible salads and sandwiches it's a wonderful place to catch up w a friend

My girlfriend and I ate at Mitchell's Deli last Sunday, fortunately we chose to dine on the day they were hosting a jazz evening! Both the music and the food were fantastic with a tremendous selection of choices. The quality of the food surpassed our expectations as the restaurant was very reasonably priced. This restaurant is perfect for a wide range of groups including couples and friends, a must try!
