Weekly rest, you are entitled to 24 hours uninterrupted rest in one week or 48 hours in a fortnight. 6. You should generally not work over 48 hours if unless you have signed an opt out clause. 7. These are some basic but helpful facts. There are different rules and regulations for those who are under 18, working on call, working at night, travel a lot or work off shore.
