What a fantastic place for a meal. Found it by chance. Food is brilliant don't miss out if your in Aberdeen. Try it you won't be disappointed

Lovely Indian food (without the fat), in a very comfortable intimate dining room with very pleasant and helpful staff.

Repeatedly the best service I have received in Aberdeen or just about anywhere else, combined with some of the tastiest food. Can't recommend highly enough!

I went to the Monsoona for the third time on Saturday 08th April and found the food to be really good. I ordered a lamb Ceylon, the lamb was tender and the flavours (which were beautifully balanced) of the curry did not overpower the lamb, which is often the case at many Indians I have eaten at. The waiters are attentive, without being annoying. However on a previous occasion when eating at the Monsoona, I found the food to be poor, the chicken was dry and the meal ordered was not what arrived at my table. I had ordered Ceylon, but a Korma, which was very creamy and cocoa nutty came, which could have come out of a jar.
I think this was down to the fact, that their chef had been taken ill and rushed to hospital, that morning. His stand-in was not up to the job, hence I gave it another chance and I am glad I did. I Would definitely go again.

Absolutely beautiful meal. Tender chicken aromatic sauces and friendly service. Very reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant. Cosy surroundings and busy which itself tells a story. This place is well worth a visit.

Amazing food, not like other Indian food, their food never makes me feel bad after big meal, get digested smoothly. Service is great too, very caring, kind and high attitude to the customers. Gentle athmosphere and exotic music. Lovely flowers on table. Favourit place for special evening in Aberdeen.
