Country Flavours of Alford are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to host your exclusive wedding at Monymusk House. Monymusk House Estate provides the most stunning location on Donside and Aberdeenshire to host your wedding, dating back to 14th century, is situated on the banks of the River Don, with the picturesque landscape of Bennachie in the background.
The Grant families, who have lived at Monymusk House since 1703, have now opened their gates to allow you exclusive access to host your wedding on their private estate.
Weddings up to 250 day guests can be catered for in the beautiful marquee with a further 100 guests in the evening, similarly if you are hosting a smaller wedding the marquee can be reduced to accommodate your needs.
In addition to the marquee and lawn you have the full use of the courtyard and lawn to the rear of the house, which is an ideal spot to host your champagne reception following your wedding ceremony. Your wedding ceremony can be held in the beautiful marquee, the gardens or alternatively there is the stunning 8th Century Church of St. Mary’s in Monymusk, which is a short walk from Monymusk House.
