We stayed Wednesday the 23rd of September and Your lodge was outstanding!!

After a wet cycle from fort William our room was so cosy and comfortable. Topped off by the bestest shower!!!

Your staff were so friendly, the receptionist opened the front door for us :)however we only came 2nd in the pub quiz:(

Outstanding stay in a beautiful place. Definitely be back

User

The people are so friendly, nd from the shower i could watch all over the mountains which was amazing. Sunday roast is amazing and its beautifully placed and the showers and beds are comfortabe

User

The best ever, all my friends must come here

User

Stayed in a private room which had everything you needed. Bar and beer garden were very good as well. Would recommend.

User

Stayed as part of the Skye High Tour (Haggis Adventures). Very hospitable, The meals may seem pricey, but they are huge. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pub is fun and has activities nightly, for example; Trivia night and karaoke on the nights I was there.

User

My second time back in 2 years! This place has the best atmosphere (including nutbush requests from the legends at the bar οΏ½) and the rooms are neat and quiet. Cannot wait for visit #3

User

My husband and I are staying here for 3 nights and are thrilled with everything. The rooms and beds are comfy and beautifully clean. The showers are super clean water hot and fantastic water pressure woohoo! The breakfast menu is great. Tonight we had Chaggis( chicken breast stuffed with haggis) and whisky sauce yummy πŸ˜‹. The staff are all so accommodating and friendly. Being slightly older and my first time in a hostel I am so pleased with everything and can't fault the experience we've had at Morag's Lodge! Thank you for everything πŸ˜‰

User

Just returned from a 2 night stay with the haggis tour. One of the best hostel/lodge I've stayed in, all the staff were super friendly and got themselves involved with us all. The food was perfect, very good for value, hot and very tasty. The whole building had everything you needed, from towels to use for Β£1, bar games, music and amazing showers. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable also! 100% recommendation. Thank you for a great stay!!!

User

I absolutely loved my time at Morag's! Excellent staff, very clean bedrooms and a really fun bar environment! Just a short walk down the road gives you amazing views of Loch Ness and the surrounding mountains. Highly recommend Morag's Lodge for people passing through!!

User

Had a great stay. Extremely friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms with individual usb charging points built into each bunk. Free teas and coffees. Free WiFi. Well stocked self catering kitchen or meals available to buy. What’s not to like?

I’m sure I’ll be back. Only one tiny niggle - the onsite bar was closed. Still plenty near buyπŸ˜€

User

For someone who does not like hostels, this place was fantastic and redeemed my thoughts of hostels! It was fun, clean, warm, inviting and had some great extras such as the ability to purchase meals and a laundry service. The staff were friendly, helpful and I really enjoyed my stay here. This is what all hostels should be like!!

User

First time at Morag's Lodge. We enjoy camping but made an exception as we were meeting up with son Scot, a Haggis Driver and we would definitely go back. ( by the way .......he wasn't actually driving a Haggis) The Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. The "bolt-on's" such as the small charge for meals, towels etc allows you to save a bit of cash or simply tailor your stay to suit your own needs.

I've seen comments about the food, bit to be honest , for what you pay (not a lot) you cannot expect to have an extensive menu. This helps to keep the running costs of Hostels lower and therefore saving you cash.

I couldn't fault the quality or quantity of the food. For a little over Β£3 you can eat as much as you like at breaky and there is a good choice of cereals, eggs, beans, porridge, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee etc to fuel you for the day ahead.

You will not find a B&B cheaper and the Craic in the well stocked bar is brilliant. It is mostly young back-packer type travellers, but some families and older people too. A good eclectic mix and fun to meet other people.

In short "Go - Mo" give Morags Lodge a try.

Thanks to all the Staff for our stay.

User

Best Hostel I've ever been to. Free continental breakfast, local food sources, and sustainability is integrated into the Morag's infrastructure. The location is just absolutely stunning, and the windows open all the way which is nice during the summer.

User

Amazing!!! Love it. The location was great and the staff was very friendly.

User

Such a great group of people running this cute little hostel. The room are pretty bare bones but clean. They provide bedding but you do have to rent a towel if needed. It's a quick walk to town so I would skip the less than impressive "continental breakfast"... unless it's Sunday morning (cuz nothing is open for breakfast in town). The best part about the whole place is the bar, where every night there is some new and fun entertainment. You must go to the trivia night if you are staying there. It's hilarious!

User

I totally recommend this hostel! So in addition to individual charging stations for each bed, they also provide breakfast and cooked dinner (for a cheap fee), and have their own bar in the hostel where they host nightly games and dancing! Definitely one of my favorite hostels I've stayed in yet!

User

A clean, comfortable and well run hostel. We stayed in a good dorm room with en suite shower and toilet.. My main suggestion for improvement would be to have drinking glasses and teapots in the self-catering kitchen.

User

This was my very first trip in UK with my wife.it Has self coocking kitchen.using that you could save many pounds and can have your own yummy food.

Lodge staf are very cooperative and lovely. In pub they play quiz game in night. Many more.

User

Absolutely wonderful. The room was extremely comfortable, bathroom lighting superb. Shower water pressure a bit low, but maybe we just couldn't quite figure it out. Morag is an exceptional host. You will want for nothing. And the breakfast was exquisite, both hearty Scottish breakfast and muceli, fruit and the best French press coffee!❀️
