A few shots of tonight’s Halloween / Bonfire night at Moray Archery. First session was bursting the balloons with fire arrows. Well done to one of our juniors Dylan who pooped the first arrow. Then onto burning of an old straw boss donated by Forres Archers. Dylan again was the first to hit the boss with his fire arrow. Then on to the zombie hoard, the two highest scorers from last year went first and well they did not do as well as they did last year and let the door ope...n to the rest of the archers. Again Dylan was in joint lead until Pete came up and took the win. Well done Pete. Hope all had fun see you again next year. Moray Archery.

Halloween/ Bonfire night. We will be holding our Halloween bonfire night on Sunday the 4th of November. At the outdoor field at night. We will be having the zombie Challenge like we did last year for barebows again. More details to follow.

Moray Archery are going to run a beginners / taster course in early November. This course is suitable for all from age 8 - adult. We will be running the sessions from our indoor range which is located at unit 9 perimeter road, pinefield industrial estate in Elgin. The hours of the session will be between 10-12am on the 3,4 & 10th & 11th of November 2018 The cost of the 8 hour course is £40 per person and all equipment is provided. Spaces on the course are limited, If you would like more information or to book a space on the course please get in touch.

Tomorrow is the last club night we will be shooting outdoors.
There is no archery on Friday for those who need to borrow a bow as I am away.
We will be back shooting indoors from Thursday the 27th of September.

Fancy trying a new sport. Archery is a sport for all ages and abilities. Moray Archery are about to run an archery beginner course suitable for adults and juniors over 8 years old. We will guide you through all the relevant safety and teach you the basics of the sport including some different bow styles. The course is 8 hours in total spread over 4 days. ... The course will run from 10-12am on the 25th & 26th of August and the 1sr & 2nd of September. The cost of the course is £40 per person.

Highland Bowhunters will be hosting another clout shoot on 29th July with a 4pm start. We will also be holding an introduction to our field course at 2pm. Feel free to come and have a look around.
Restrictions:... No Compounds No Carbon Arrows
Entry fee: Adult: £5 Juniors: £3
Distance: Gents=180yds Ladies & Juniors=120yds

Hello all As we said at our last competition we are planning to have a alternative field 3D and 2D shoot out at our range on Sunday the 1st of July. We will be shooting at a range of targets from 5m-50m but all from the same shooting line. You move down the line to the next target. Please get in touch and I will send your club an entry form. Will be something different from the normal target shoot.

Moray Archery have received an email from the Moray Council saying that they have granted planning permission for our Archery shooting shelter. Now just to get a building warrant and hopefully we can start building as soon as we raise some more funds.
