Moray Flying Club Description
Moray Flying Club is a not for profit Military flying club for both Kinloss Barracks and RAF Lossiemouth and aims to provide cost-effective flying to Service personnel. A limited number of non-Service members are also accepted as long as they can obtain the required security clearance to enter Kinloss Barracks and contribute to the club through regular flying. Non-members can be escorted on to base for trial lessons - as a taster - but will need to join the club in order to continue training and flying with us. Visit Club website for more details.

One for the soap fans, particularly Emmerdale, whilst on a flying visit to the area to switch on the Lossie Christmas Lights Anthony Quinlan (who plays Pete Barton) popped across to Moray Flying Club this morning for the flying part and a trial lesson with FI Mark Pead. Hope you enjoyed it Anthony!

Dallachy Airfield as captured by Nick French. Dallachy was built late 1942 and became operational early 1943 home to Beaufighters. Became an Army camp after the war and closed in 1958. Was home to Highland Gliding Club 70's and 80's and now used by Dallachy Aeromodellers
