This is how The Beast (Evolve Custom Filter) was born! Lengthy discussions between Ian (Evolve) and Andy for several weeks about space, ultimate goals etc and Ian disappeared into his workshop..............................we were not allowed to see any pictures until it was unloaded outside on Thursday morning! WOW The Beast is a very apt name. This custom built filter measures 2m long, 820 mm wide and 820 mm tall!!!!! It is capable of filtering a 15,000 gallon pond. It ...has 300 litres of K1, an extra size Jap Mat cassette and 400 litres of Crystal Bio in the shower. Maximum flow rate is 25,000 litres per hour, however, with a replacement 75 micron screen available from Evolve, the flow rate can be increased to 35,000 litres per hour. There is 20,000 litres of drum cleaned water per hour flowing through the shower alone, supplied by a DM Vario 20000 pump which is concealed under the drum. The day The Beast arrived - we had to adopt Plan B as we knew that The Beast would not fit through the door of the Fish House so, the team were assembled, allowed to have breakfast first and then work commenced. It had to go up onto the wall which is around 5 feet tall, onto the roof and over into the garden then into the opposite end of the Fish House where the window had to be removed. Tea was in plentiful supply and the Supervisor kept an eye on proceedings throughout the day. A long day was had by all but a very satisfying day as by the end of it, The Beast was in its new home and had been run. Huge thanks to Ian Miles

What can I say? I really can’t thank Andy enough for all his help! We had a pond full of golden orfe which we wanted to rehome and when I contacted Andy he responded in what felt like seconds and from then on was absolutely fantastic. He couldn’t have been more helpful, he posted pictures of my fish and I then got 2 lovely people, Brenda and Caroline who came and were delighted to rehome the fish. He was fantastic to deal with and I feel so lucky to have found him. I would highly recommend him!

I purchased a 2nd hand 1,000 gallon VAT at a VERY reasonable price, which included delivery to suit.

Well I've given them 3 different dates for moving into my new house only for me to have to cancel. Not once did they moan about this and in fact have been very accommodating to the fact of.

" just let us know, we will get there when you want it".

Excellent communication and customer service all round, couldn't really ask for more tbh.

Visited moray koi a couple of weeks ago .Andy and his wife was very welcoming lovely cupa and a great chat. Was there for over two hours lot's of beautiful koi to choose from. I purchased a few koi and I am very happy will definitely be going back very soon to get more quality koi carp . All I can say it's a place you should visit if you want quality healthy fish and Andy has fish there to suit everyone's pocket. Andy is a great guy and good hospitality will try his best to help you

Popped in to see what Andy had for sale. We were in the area on holiday from Wiltshire, so not in the market for buying Koi; not that that was a problem at all. Had such a warm welcome (& coffee) and a good long chat about Koi, ponds and everything in between. Will be keeping an eye on the stock for sure. Thanks for making us feel so welcome �

My partner and I spent Christmas at Rosemount hotel/Moray koi as my birthday present. Had a lovely warm welcome from Ellen and Andy when we arrived late afternoon. We had a fantastic room with great views, when we came down to the lounge Andy asked if I’d like to see the koi ? Although it was just getting dark , said yes please , spent half an hour at the outdoor pond, some really koi in the pond( one or two well maybe more) noted . We were then taken to the indoor koi house , first having sterilised our shoes and then our hands as we went in ( can’t be too fussy keeping his koi safe and sound) . We were again shown some exquisite koi. Andy left us alone to watch the koi Think we spent 45 minutes just enjoying the scenery lol ( again one or three were noted down for further inspection before we left ) Spent a great 5 days up in Buckie, looking forwards to a return in the summer months . Thank you again Ellen and Andy for an outstanding stay and your outstanding koi . Rob and Stevie ��������

Have used Moray Koi for All my purchases from Koi to equipment I can not fault Andys level of expertise. My air pump went down and replacement was needed asap contacted Andy on Monday he took details of pond volume and fish quantiy and recomended the right air pump at 10am i orderd with him and on 10am Tuesday it's at my door. That's amazing service and why I only shop at moray keep up the great work.

Had the pleasure of doing business with them and it was perfect.

Great service and advice from Andy and plenty chat relating to non koi aquatics. Great help throughout and very accommodating regards delivery of my vat. Thanks guys

Andy’s passion for koi is obvious from the first time you speak to him. The quality of fish are superb , but more importantly he’s always so willing to help or advise on any matter regarding fish health , water , filtration etc. Great guy , 5 stars doesn’t seem enough.
