Murder at Moray Lodge! Great crime weekend organised by Marjorie of The Bookmark in Grantown. The lodge was delighted to play host to the very best of Scottish Crime Writers including Doug Skelton, Caro Ramsay, Michael J Malone and Mason Cross - our own Lin Anderson also popped in. When most people see the swimming pool they say "Wow" - Caro's first comment was "Can we get a body in there?........"

Words cant express how fabulous this place is, the facilities available to us, the spotless and well thought out accommodation and the wonderful hospitality of the owners Elizabeth and Ian could not be faulted, the memories all 21 of us have taken away with us after an absolutely epic weekend will be with us forever xx but I'm sure we'll be back ��

What an amazing place for family/group gatherings. We have just returned from celebrating special family birthdays and couldn't fault this place. Every care has been taken to provide all you could possibly need, plus extra special touches to make your stay complete. The surrounding town and countryside caters for lovely outdoor pursuits. We had a blast and I would thoroughly recommend Moray Lodge. Happy memories made here for our family.

What an amazing lodge!! � just returned from a long weekend with family and loved every minute of our stay!! The lodge is huge and has everything you could ask for. Amazing pool, jacuzzi, games room and not to mention the cosy log fire in the lounge. Emma could not have been more helpful & friendly too. We really have had the best time and are even talking about returning next year !!! �

Well what can I say myself and my extended family had the most amazing week at Moray Lodge, the pictures do not do it justice it's very spacious and although we had 16 people in one house we never felt like you had no where to get some quiet time. I can not complain about one thing it was an absolutely fantastic place and I can highly recommend this �

Totally amazing place...just back from a girls weekend for a special friends 40th birthday! Made very welcome by Ian and Elizabeth...lots of additional touches. Couldn't recommend enough. Top class.

The lodge is outstanding! Tonnes of space, beautiful bedrooms, fabulous gardens all set in an idyllic Highland village, oh and there's a pool and jacuzzi too!! Highly recommend for a family get together, there's plenty room even when there's 23 of you!

Stayed last week. Absolutely superb. Great location. 10 adults and 10 kids and there was still room for more. Everybody loved the swimming pool. The kids young and old enjoyed the games room. Can't recommend it highly enough. Hope to return sometime soon.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here with 8 other couples for my 30th last weekend and had one of the best weekends we have ever had! The house itself is outstanding, has everything you could need and the location is perfect. You feel completely out of the way when in the lodge, however it is less than a 5 minute walk from the town where you will find a couple of pubs and some takeaways... and also a large co-op. The swimming pool has to be seen to be believed, pictures don’t do it justice! Highly recommend and we will be back at some point next year...

Myself and a team of friends visited this beautiful house for our friends 30th. We had the best weekend full of laughs and most of it spend in the pool area. The house is secluded so playing the music a little louder than usual felt okay because you weren’t bothering anyone. Although it’s secluded it was about a 10min walk from the centre which is very picturesque. The games rooms is fab we had our Halloween party there and the living room is a great size where we spend our lazy Sunday recovering with some games and the cosy log fire.

I can’t wait to return and I have already recommended it to so many people.

My husband and I and our girls have just spent an amazing week here for our friends vow renewal. What a place. Loved the pool, the lounge was amazing with a roaring fire. It just felt so homely. The owners are so lovely and very helpful. The grounds were great for all the children to play in. Loved it had a cottage and an annex too and although over the courtyard from the house, you still felt part of it. The village just up the road is great, walking distance to the Co-op, butchers, bakery and local pubs. Would highly recommend for a retreat with the extended family or friends, to celebrate a special occasion or a wedding. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and giving us lovely family memories

Just back from another great weekend spent at Moray Lodge! Great House, pool and grounds in a lovely location. Already booked for next year! �

Had a lovely weekend with all the family. The house is lovely and the games room and swimming pool are perfect to keep everyone entertained. The lovely large lounge with log burner is so cosy and comfy and the conservatory is great for a beautiful sunny morning- look out for the squirrels! Delighted to be heading back next year.

Great family venue. At a recent cousin's reunion 3 different generations enjoyed all the facilities. We also met up with cousins staying in other places and had a ceilidh in the Pagoda next door.

Fantastic lodge for kids and adults alike something for everyone location is great for walks and 5 mins stroll from centre of Granton. Owners are excellent very welcoming thoroughly recommended.

Couldn't have wished for a more perfect place for our party of 12 ladies to spend last weekend! Gorgeous setting, fantastic facilities, heated pool, jacuzzi, huge games/bar room! Lovely touches like a robe/slippers on every bed.. and very friendly helpful owners, Ian & Elizabeth. Would highly recommend Moray Lodge and Im already excited about planning our next stay! �
