Great to see Callum getting the victory in the pedal car, well done.

User

Who better to congratulate you on your victory at Goodwood other than Sir Jackie Stewart. Callum was even wearing a hat from Jackies 1970s collection to which he recognised immediately. 🏆🏆🏆

User

Who said anything about it taking it seriously? After all it’s only a kids race!

Well the Btcc is at Knockhill this weekend and is in its 60th year as a championship. Here at the museum we still like it 1960s style. The vehicle in the first picture UUU2 competed in the very first race in 1958 driven by Jeff Uren and is currently on display in the museum and still races regularly today.

User

Some of our exhibits attended the Dunrobin car rally today and our Austin Atlantic won Best Overall. The car was originally owned by King Farouk hence Callum came dressed for the occasion. Maybe he is more Mr Cooper “Just Like That!” 🤲

User

With another chance for young Callum to race in this years Settrington Cup,training has started .Lets hope he has as good a run as last year. Race Car Transport very Goodwood Revival .

User

Turning back the years tonight with an Autocar Jaguar vs Ford road test 1983 style with two of the Museums exhibits (Granada 2.8 ghia and Jaguar 4.2 XJ6). Which one do you think firstly won the road test and secondly which cars design has survived the test of time?

MMM’s Barn Find Hunter has been doing his thing once again! This 1951 Jaguar Xk120 has been in the same ownership for some 50 years and has recently been sighted languishing in its slumber somewhere in Moray.

User

One of our exhibits taking part in the charity Loch Ness event ran by the Rotary. The car was originally owned by Ninian Sanderson the Le Mans winning racing driver as his everyday road car and still wears its original Glasgow registration mark.

User

Moray Motor Museums very own ‘Barn Find Hunter’ has been touring Scotland And recently visited a garage in which this completely original 1949 Series 1 Land Rover has languished for too long.(approx 40 years). It’s still in the garage and it unfortunately did not make it into our restoration workshop so it could be reunited with the highway again. Do you know of any rare or unusual cars that may be neglected and could be our next project?

User

Ohhhhh! If the numbers came up on Saturday night any of these three would be on the wish list. After seeing these cars at events or museums recently , we want to know what would be at the top of your shopping list for your dream car?

User

Could this be a new exhibit in 50 years time? Hamish the Coovan that’s touring Moray this weekend promoting top attractions, popped into our museum to see yesterday. Don’t fancy getting reception on either of those Aerials.

User

What’s the collective noun? Race at Oulton Park with one and a local wedding with the other. Better not get muddled up or the bride might be a bit early or shaken about🏆🥂

User

Here is period photos of one of current exhibits which has pride of place in our museum . This is the 1959 Costin bodied Lister Jaguar Works Car. The car is still racing and having personally experienced 180mph at Le Mans in it a couple of years ago it really is 👌🏾.

User

Donington Historic 👍🏿 our Jaguar Exworks 1937 Ss 100 finished an incredible 4th overall. Not bad for a 74 year old driver.
