Looking to move on from your baby box sling or stretchy? Not sure what would work for your family? This workshop is a great opportunity to get some help with your next step, to find something that fits you and your baby so that you can come tune to enjoy all the benefits that baby wearing brings. Please message the page to secure a spot as we have limited numbers available to ensure everyone gets the help they need.
Cost is £3 per family.

Brrrrr! It's definitely getting chilly! It's important to remember to keep baby and you nice and cosy when carrying, and to do so safely. Below are some great tips from Carrying Matters - Dr Rosie Knowles on how to do that. We will have a table of examples to look at and try at our meet on Saturday 15th 10-12. See you there!

Who is going to see the fireworks this weekend? A sling is the perfect way to get through the crowds, have your small person high enough to see the beauty that is the fireworks, and to comfort them and help protect their ears against the bangs and pops! My kids all love fireworks, but the smalls always, without fail, need a lift and a cuddle! A sling saves my arms and shoulders when they need up! Grab your sling at the weeks Sling Meet (Friday, 10-12noon, Williamson Hall) so aid an easier bonfire night!

We will have examples of how to keep cosy in the winter when carrying your little ones. As usual we will be there to help with adjustments of fitting your own sling, or can offer guidance if you are looking to try something new. Please message our page to book a 1:1 consult if you require a little more time. Cake and refreshments as always, small reading corner, and a look at our newest additions to the library stock.

Hello everyone! It's our monthly sling meet on Friday the 5th October. Come along for all things babywearing related. If you need help with your own sling, want to try before you buy or want to hire one of the many slings and carriers in our library. We are still using an appointments system so please comment below or pm us if you would like an appointment. Each app last 10/15 mins and is £2.50 per family. If you feel you would like longer and we could arrange a mini consult...ation (30 mins) or and hours one to one consultation (these will be arranged out of library drop in times). If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you are returning a sling only please drop off between 10-12. If you can't return a sling please get in touch. Apps are first come first serve.

🎉🎉 WE TOOK IT HOME!!! 🎉🎉
We are sooooooo chuffed to announce that we are one of only 2 libraries in Scotland to own a #GeekyBaby, brand new, just launched at sss, Geeky Baby Carrier.
This half buckle is soooo comfy: has an easy to secure and adjust buckled waist, a never-been-seen-before clinching design which makes it completely adjustable for small babies and toddlers, and wrap straps to provide security, adjustability and comfort for you and baby.
... This has been Samantha's baby for many years now, and we are so proud of her for making her dreams happen ❤️
We took home the green carrier, and it will be out at the October Sling Meet for a play and hire!

Our facebook has been a little quiet recently, and I will play catch up very soon, promise....
But look! 3 of us are at Sling Show Scotland--eeeeeap!!!

Super knowledgable, and one of the lovely ladies dropped a sling off at my house when I had missed the meet!!! Too kind and helpful!!!!

My husband and I came along to the meet today. We have hired a fab sling to try out and felt really welcome :) thank you ladies! X

So many wonderful and beautifully maintained slings and carriers to try and hire.



A fantastic place to meet other families and make friends.



Reasonable costs and AMAZING cakes!



The volunteers are super awesome too �

Me and hubby opted to have a private consult as we both wanted to baby wear. Well what a great lass we had come and visit us and give us heaps of helpful advice hints and tips. We ended up hiring a sling that we are both happy and feel so reassured as Tasha took the time to get to know our needs. Also feel very confident with using it and know that Tasha and other ladies are up to help if we have any problems at all! :-)
