Excellent parking facilities. Service station with carwash, car vacuum cleaner, air and water point. Has a laundry counter inside the shop. Have used it in the past and would recommend it. Good selection of groceries and other goods. Prices are reasonable.

Not a bad store product wise. However the toilets always seem to be in need of repairs or cleaning.
On a whole 90% of staff are pleasant. Some of the younger ones could do with being a bit more cheerful at times.

I spoke to a charming manager in your store earlier this afternoon, with cap-in-hand asking if the store could give me (Newbattle Beekeepers) discounted sugar. We need to feed sugar to the bees at this time of year to carry them through into the spring.
He duly went off to ask if this was possible, just a few minutes later he returned with good news.

You have did it once again for the local community

Good variety of groceries and a small clothes section. Handy community supermarket. On the smaller side, but meets most of your weekly needs and is easy to get to, with ample parking space

Major improvements within store. The new cafe area is really nice...good food. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Very clean store.

Never too busy so easy to shop. Meat and fish great.

Decent size. Good prices, but fresh desserts not so good.

Good for booze deals. Own branded food not value for money. Most staff ignorant or uninterested. Cleanliness inside store slightly below what I would find acceptable. Seen spillages lie on shelves for weeks. Store often reeks of food from the café. Outside shop in need of a hose down. Dog waste often not cleaned and cigarette ends littered everywhere.
