Situated in the square in the heart of the village of Dufftown, the Whisky capital of the world, Morven overlooks the historic Clock Tower. Built of granite the clock tower has seen many different uses including being the local Jail and an illicit distillery. The village currently has 6 working distilleries including Glenfiddich and Balvenie which both have visitor centres. Dufftown is also home to Balvenie castle which was built in the 1200, s and has plenty of local walks with spectacular views from our doorstep. Winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding are also available at The Lecht Ski Centre which is approximately 30 minutes drive and Aviemore situated in the Cairngorms national park is only forty miles away. Morven is ideally located for local amenities and offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation offering double and twin en suite rooms.
