Great staff at a relatively busy mainline station.

There are four platforms here, with regular services to Cumbernauld, Hamilton, Lanark, Glasgow and the surrounding areas, and less frequent services to Edinburgh and stations in England including Carlisle, Birmingham and London. The staff are friendly and helpful for the most part, although a small minority buck the trend. There is a shop in the station, a small take away just outside, and a ticket office that is usually staffed, as well as ticket vending machines.

Standing outside the Platform 1 waiting room watching 3 people openly smoking (real cigarettes).
Nobody gives a s**t eh?
Especially the station staff. Well done all.
