McLuckie’s Line is a raw, hard hitting and at times hilarious monologue that delves into the wounded soul of Lawrence McLuckie. An unemployed actor and compulsive gambler waiting nervously in a claustrophobic corridor of a Glasgow hospital expecting a phone call from his aloof theatrical agent. An offer of work that will change his life forever – what could go wrong? Place your bets!
The play explores important subjects like men’s health, grief, coming to terms with cancer an...d the will to survive but is also packed with humour: crazy actresses, nosy neighbours, reprobate mates, a wee wren in a housing scheme, a Spanish speaking horse, a gun toting Elvis impersonating bookmaker and a greyhound called Flight Delay.
CONTAINS VERY STRONG LANGUAGE AND REFERENCES TO DRUG TAKING. SUITABLE FOR AGE 16 AND OVER.
Adult £13.50 / Concessions £8.00

... Bambino is a first operatic adventure for six to 18-month-olds and their carers.
Fresh from sell out runs in Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2017, and performances in Paris and New York this spring, this five-star show is back and touring Scotland.
Performed by two singers, a cellist and a percussionist, this unique and colourful work reinvents the world of opera for children at an age when their minds are wide open to new sounds, images and experiences. Babies are free to explore during the performance, interacting with the performers and each other.
We hope adults might find new ways of enjoying music too – through the ears of their babini!
Written by Scottish Opera’s acclaimed former Composer in Residence Lliam Paterson and directed by Improbable’s ever imaginative Phelim McDermott.
Suitable for babies aged 6 to 18 months and their carers.

Kilkenny city is famous for its long history of brewing fine Irish ale and beer. The brewery may be gone, but the music plays on.
With passion and pride, The Kilkennys play old Irish folk songs and new songs of their own. Much like the monks of St Francis Abbey, who first brewed ale 350 years ago, The Kilkennys are meticulous craftsmen. They pour their hearts into their music.
The Kilkennys have been named Ireland’s Most Successful International Folk Band winners in the Sunda...y Worlds Country Music and Entertainment Awards in February 2018.
Davey Cashin said, “We love touring and getting the chance to share traditional Irish folk songs with the history behind those songs to all of our fans across the globe.”

My family come every year and it is always amazing, thank you for inviting my 2 boys Zack & Ethan up on the stage, I was so proud of them both and Ethan with his naughty antics had the full place in hysterics defo give “sheepie” a run for his money when he is older x x

User

Took the kids to see Jack and the Beanstalk and had a fantastic time. Cast were fantastic but silly Billy (Ian sheepie smth) you are our favourite.

Only negative was the number of trips made to the loo by the older adults sitting in front. Mabe drinking before, during and after the performance wasn't such a god idea !!

User

Jack and the Beanstalk was brilliant! Fantastic from start to finish.

Saw The Complete Stone Roses and Definitely Oasis. Absolutely brilliant! This is the second time I have been to see an Oasis tribute band at the Concert Hall. Both times brilliant. The hall is a good size, sound is good. Bars a bit pricey but expected for any kinda of event that is selling alcohol. Certainly didn't stop me buying a few!

User

I take my kids and young people from Shining Stars ASN Theatre School to this panto every year. This year there was 147 of us. It's amazing how much you all do for us, and I'm truly thankful. My kids had an absolute ball this year, again. Thank you very much! We can't wait for next year!!

User

Had a great night watching Sister Act by Shine they were brilliant. Music and costumes were excellent and all the cast put in a great performance, will be back to see the next show. My friend has mobility issues and the lift was out of order but the staff couldn't have been more helpful getting her a wheelchair and helping us get her to the show on time, even asking us at interval if we wanted the wheelchair again to go for tea, thank you again you took all the stress out of the situation.

User

Had a great night last night, took my son to the Panto for his birthday. Great cast, great laughs. Theatre was a bit on the cold side though as we had cold air blowing above us, still had a great night though!!!

User

Great panto from start to finish brilliant for all the family 😊 my wee girl took part this year and was a beanie she loved every minute of it our favourite was the villain he was great with the kids backstage too 😊

User

Came to the theatre as my little niece was in this years panto Jack and the Beanstalk, what a fantastic night and laugh out loud panto haven’t had as good a night out in ages. We will definitely be booking tickets for next years panto, it took me right back to my childhood and now my kids will have the same memories too can not recommend it enough, the actors go out of their way to entertain and include the audience in everything, Fantastic night had by all.

User

I went to see Jack and the Beanstalk on Saturday night with my daughter and two granddaughters. The panto was fantastic with lots of laughs and the cast were excellent. My only criticism of the venue was how cold the theatre was. We sat near the front and had cold air blowing over us for the whole show. It may just have been where we were seated but it did spoil the evening.

User

Bit concerned over the "hot water" only tap in the toilets I had a 5yr old with me who was almost roasted trying to wash her hands! Lovely venue, but it's beyond me why no cold taps

User

Went to see 'Jack and the beanstalk'

Wasn't really looking forward to it. Only went to take my kids. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A right good laugh😄👍🏻

The venue however is too crammed. Not enough space between the rows of seats. So much hassle trying to take two young kids from centre of row out to the toilets 😐

User

I loved loved loved The Dolls show! I nearly peed myself from laughter and my face hurt from smiling. We had great seats since I booked it many months in advance. The only reason I am giving you a 3 star is because the staff were rude as hell. We only got a 15 minute break but because the shortage of toilets for women, we were all rushed to get drinks, pee and freshen up. We paid for our ticket, so despite staff being rude and saying that if we didn't hurry up we wouldn't be allowed in until a 'suitable break time'. If that was the case, my Gran would knock you out and walk in anyway. Any show in the future we will go elsewhere for better manners.
