Having had a major cycle incident I spoke to CycleLaw Scotland about holding someone to account. I was involved in a life changing accident 5 years ago. Whilst I was in ICU on a ventilator for the first 2 weeks our insurance company instructed a solicitor to take on our case. My wife attempted to deal with them but she later told me that she had many unreturned phone calls and hardly spoke to the same person twice. Nor did she meet anyone from the insurance company in person and was finding it very overwhelming trying to deal with it and what was happening to me.
