Good food and excellent beer. The beer is brewed locally and atmosphere in the Inn is very cozy.

Had a meal in the bar at the Moulin very traditional atmosphere with a roaring fire and good Scottish food. The mince and taties were excellent. Micro brewery next door provides a range of ales with free samples to allow you to select your favourite. Good range of Gins listed on a chalk board on the wall. Well worth a visit

Group of us including a dog had dinner and drinks in the bar. Lovely cosy the pub feel. Quality food and some tasty local ales.

Four of us had our tea in the lounge. The steak and ale pie was the best I've had anywhere. The open fire, wooden beams and cosy nooks for each table make it a lovely place to eat. Larger groups might find it a squeeze to fit at a single table though. It's far enough away from the busy main street in Pitlochry to feel more relaxed. I'm sure we'll eat there again.

Smashing place, nice old Highland bar serving well-conditioned beer. Mostly traditional bar menu but everything we ordered was prepared and presented to a high standard. External seating where you can take your drinks and waiting staff will bring bar meals out. Brewery attached and local heritage centre directly across the street.

Nice quiet room. Lovely meals (although getting a seat can be hard). Breakfast ok. Parking hit and miss. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Popped in for some food after getting drenched climbing Ben Vrackie. After getting out of our wet clothes we had some very tasty food and drink - wish I'd tried their own beer (next time!). Friendly family atmosphere and a nice roaring fire or two. Would come again.

Incredible beer (the Old Remedial alone is worth the trip to Pitlochry) and good, wholesome food (even a vegan option) in a beautiful, old building. Classy, but unpretentious, this is a proper, cosy, country pub well worth a visit.

The Moulin Hotel is situated just outside Pitlochry but is was just a couple of yards from the house we had rented in Moulin so ideally situated after a long day touring around the area. The pub is very much old style traditional in décor and approach and all the better for it. The food was a mix of pub regular items and good local cuisine which is well worth venturing into, the beef mince and tatties were an ideal point in question. Not something I would normally crave for but after a day of whisky distillery tours and tastings seemed just right and it was awesome. There is also a range of beers from the micro brewery next door which were excellent and a very good selection of whisky and gins. We will be spending a lot of time at the Moulin this week.
