Mr Chips

First time I went here I got a bad portion of chips, or so I thought. This time I went for the Haggis pudding supper again as it is beautiful but again the chips I got was dreadful (see photo), so I have to assume that they do actually class that as a portion whilst selling them at those prices - which are steep, probably the most expensive chipper in town. Add to that the moody staff and I can safely say I won't be back.

If you are like me and simply don't appreciate being ripped off, you should avoid this place!!!

I dont thick ive ever had such a bad chipper as what we came home with tonight, 2 king rib suppers, and both unedible, king rib covered in raw, soggy, full of grease supposedly batter, chips (what few there were) tasted of nothing but cardboard, in which they were
served, never will we return, and would advise, custimer care courses for ALL staff

After stopping here for a bit of a treat following a hard day at work, I was met with rather impolite staff (looking at phones while they should be working). It was empty, and when I got home I was able to work out why...the food isn't that great. Would not go back.

As I WAS going to be a customer tonight, I was going to be having fish and chips. I went in,standing waiting to be served,was waiting for 5 minutes to be served. A customer walked in,no one looked at me and asked if I had been served,the guy that came in got served straight away. The young boy behind the counter had seen me come in but didn't acknowledge me. Worst place in Aberdeen for service and food. I walked out and went to panda valley Chinese. MUCH better service. Stuff u Mr chips.

It's a shame I have to write this review but I hope it's taking as good criticism first I must say the food at Mr chips is Excellent honestly one of the finest chippers in Aberdeen and the chips we'll there amazing the only bad thing I have to say is that the costumer service and the way the chipper is run needs to be changed the staff are all over the place but they are friendly it's just when coming in you won't see any food in the hot trays ready made and good to go after working in a chipper myself I think it's standard that you allways have three of macaroni and steak pies black and white puddings and fishes sitting out on the hot trays so when someone orders its bish bash bosh wrapped up served and onto the next costumer it just creates a steady flow at busy times and saves the costumer waiting around I think if the staff practice this more people would be happy to return to Mr chips and enjoy the fine food they have on offer

Wouldn't recommend going here. The customer service is awful! Staff members (one in particular) were rude from the get-go. Not a single smile, thank-you.. anything. My food was slammed down on the counter in front of me, and after paying for my meal I held out my hand to receive my change which was also then slammed down on the counter without any acknowledgement from the staff member except for a dirty look. The service has completely put me off this place and I will never use it again.
