Wonderful afternoon feeding the lambs, goats horses and rabbits. Even on a cold day so good to be outside with the animals the children loved it. The young lady who was on hand with the lambs was so kind and really made us feel welcome makes a huge difference to the experience. Definitely recommend a visit soon. ������

We went to the farm yesterday. 4 of us 2 adults 2 children. We had a fantastic day the kids got to feed the lambs and calves. They held the baby chicks and spent hours in the sand pits and play areas. Plenty for them to do. We even watched the water buffalo getting a cold shower. The staff are friendly and accommodating and we had 2 ice creams each as they are that delicious. Added bonus if you work for the NHS you get free admission as me and my son both work at the hospital we only paid for the kids. More to spend on the ice cream.

We thought the farm was lovely, the children had a great day, fed the lambs, played in the park and sandpit and the price of admission was worth it (maybe £1 less for children though) would visit again. Great ice cream too !

We have just left after a wonderful day at the Farm, Even the soggy weather didn’t dampen our day. Our 2 year old loved being introduced to all the animals and was even able to feed and hold some. The staff are fabulous and friendly especially Jenna who regularly went out of her way to make sure our little girl was able to get a turn to hold the animals and kept us informed about what was happening when and where. Absolutely fabulous value for money and we will definitely be returning!

We came on Saturday as part of a children's party. It was a fantastic venue, well organised with lots of opportunities to feed all the animals. Party food selection for my son who must have a dairy free diet was amazing, even made a special pizza and a choice of desserts. When the other children had ice cream my son could have sorbet, when at other places he has had to miss out. The play area and sand pit was a plesant surprise too. I Will definitely be recommending Mrs Dowson Farm Park for days out. Thank you 🖒

We came and visited Mrs Dowson farm on Saturday as a last minute trip with our one year old daughter. I can honestly say we have never been to such a friendly, happy farm where all the animals are approachable, tame and well behaved. The animals are so well looked by the lovely and friendly staff (who go out of their way to make everyone happy) they allow the experience of holding baby animals as well as helping to feed the animals around the farm. They ensure everyone gets a turn - which I found lovely as some farms don’t do this. We played on the play area and our little girl enjoyed the tractors. We then visited the cafe (which is very well priced) we had 2 tub ice creams and one normal tub ice cream and it came to just under £6 which we thought was cheap compared to other ice-cream parlours. And because the ice cream tasted amazing we then went and bought three big tubs of ice cream to take home which again was well priced at 3 tubs for £10! Overall a fantastic day and we have made some amazing memories with our little girl. Thank you so much to the lovely staff who were working that day you made the visit very enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Visited today for the first time with our little boy. Can’t believe we live so close and have never been before! He loved it especially feeding the lambs and calves, and then finishing off with a play in the sandpit. Well worth a visit!

This farm is fantastic, it has lots of things for the kids to do and the staff are absolutely amazing, they are so helpful and really go out of their way to make sure you have a great day. I can’t recommend this farm enough! Well done guys, the customer experience is fantastic!

The amount of times my family has been (and are planning to go) is unreal. They love it! It's not just for the children, but for all ages who love animals. Every time they go there's something new down on the farm or a great new ice cream flavour to try! Highly recommended for a morning, afternoon or all day long.

Mrs Dowson is crazy absolutely off her rocker! Definitely in a good way!...so passionate about the farm and the animals. walks round the place talking to folk and just a lovely person, brilliant with the kids. She even let us in abit cheaper. Food was good esp ice cream....the schedule was bang on time for all events...nice and open chilled atmosphere. Staff were great...funny watching young lad trying to catch a rabbit for us to hold lol bless him was his first day. Will def be going again! Only snag was hand soap had run out and being pregnant and touching the animals I could have done with it...did tell the man cuddling the sheep but i think he forgot...went to toilets instead no biggy. Thank you for having us!

The tour was great not rushed plenty of information about the animals all questions answered nice friendly guide who made sure we fed n held the animals. Great friendly place plenty to see and do and picnic area was great overall can’t beat it for the price paid.

Had a great afternoon at this little farm - perfect for any ages. Great time feeding the cows and lambs, plus petting other animals. Definitely recommend as a place to visit.

First visit today with my mum and my 6yr old daughter had heard about the farm thru a nestle kids go free promotion, wen we got here we didnt think we wud be here long as arrived not long after it opened but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, we enjoyed the farm talk, loved the tractor ride and my daughter loved the play area as she loves climbing x

First time here for my husband and me went with my daughter and grandchildren had a really lovely day,staff very friendly and made you feel very welcome.Not a lot of animals but all very well cared for and every where was lovely and clean.The little cafe was lovely and ice cream was amazing.

My little girl had her 4th birthday party there today and loved every minute, we even got to see some baby guinea pigs and a calf being born! Ethan was especially great with the kids on their trip around the farm, thank you all so much xxx

Clean, fantastic staff with plenty of things for the kiddies to do: tractor ride, animal feeding, sandpit, petting the animals. Also the ice cream is fantastic-we visit it every summer ( at least once) and every time we can notice improvements done to the farm-well done on the *shades tent* placed near the sandpit � We easily spend 4 hrs+ there on each visit.

We even met Mrs Dowson who could not have been friendlier, she even played with our children for a bit & went out of her way to check we were all ok and enjoying ourselves. The lambs were lovely to feed and super cute our little ones could hold chicks and rabbits. It was great as our children could just run around in the outdoors and explore!! Not to mention HOW TASTY the ice cream was!!! We Will defo be back again!!

A massive thank you to Mrs Dowson and all her staff. We had our son's 3rd Birthday here at the weekend and would highly recommend it. Easy to book, Mrs Dowson was our host and made sure our son was the centre of attention. We got to see all the animals, feed them and hold the chicks, enjoy a buffet lunch and icecream. Afterwards we were allowed to stay and enjoy the activity playground, ride on tractors and sandpit. Plenty to do for a day out and despite there being 2 more parties afterwards we didn't feel rushed whatsoever. A young member of staff even showed round my friend who was a bit late and juggling a toddler and newborn before joining the rest of us so they didn't miss anything.

Its ok for a couple of hours to fill the time for the kids. The reason I only gave 3 stars was the food, the lack of hygiene, staff were too busy as party on at same time and squirty cream on a scone at a farm shop is inexcusable your business should be based on the farm produce and it should be fresh.
