Muirhall Self Catering Holiday Cottages - Lanark

Muirhall Holiday Cottages are really interesting and made a fabulous destination for my family holiday. I was looking for a property close to Edinburgh but with lots of space for the children. This was our first self catering holiday for a few years and we were all really surpriesed how much self catering has changed in the last few years. It has changed our opinion as the accommodation was better than we are used to in the hotels we normally visit and you have the added benefit of lots of living space.

Wonderful holiday cottages in Lanarkshire. I have just returned from a short break at Muirhall self catering holiday cottages and have been inspired to write a review. The cottages are part of a farm steading converted recently using incredible vision and high quality materials that has produced a wonderful environment to relax and get away from it all. The warm log fire was the heart of the cottage and we enjoyed the warmth of the fire each evening with the added warmth of a single malt. Everything is perfectly designed for holiday use, incredibly clean and interesting use of space. I particularly enjoyed the mezzanine bedroom with its balcony and the large oak beams that dominate the design. Fantastic cottages !!!
