Great customer service when you are looking to purchase a car, but once you've exchanged the money they have no interest.
I bought a corsa vxr in April, needed to be put through its mot so I offered them over a week once leaving them my deposit to complete this, which they accepted. After driving home I noticed a noise coming from the car, after eventually getting through to the garage they told me there should not be a noise as it has just passed it's Mot that day. I insisted there was, holding the phone to the car to allow them to hear the noise and he then told me to bring the car back the next day.
After returning to the garage to collect the car 1 week later, yet again the problem was not fixed. They said it was the clutch, which had "just been replaced" in the mot, so it had now had 2 clutches fitted and the problem was still not fixed.
I was then advised to take the car home (with the noise still present), as it was just "gearbox chatter" and this would disappear within a couple of weeks. So I done this, drove the car hoping the noise would go away so I wouldn't have to return but unfortunately this was not the case.
After calling the garage back and to be honest received nothing but arrogance from the person on the phone, they reluctantly took the car back. They then told me they were replacing the gearbox with a reconditioned one as this was the fault, so this would be 1 week. 1 week later and no car, they said they sent it to another garage to be done and it wasn't back, I would receive a phone call when it was back. It was now pushing 2 weeks and still no car so after continually phoning I eventually was told after changing the gearbox the car still had the noise so would now have to change the clutch to an "upgraded" one, which is really the clutch that should have been fitted in the first place but they tried to cut corners and save cash by fitting cheaper versions which do not work with the car.
Upon collecting the car, it was made clear to me how much of an inconvenience I have been and they have had to spend £2500 fixing the car, which to be fair would not have had to happen if they had put the right clutch in the first time. Bearing in mind I had only driven home and the car was showing problems, I had the car a total of 2 weeks and owned the car for just over 6 weeks meaning they had the car more than me!!
Now almost 4 months after buying the car and not even 2 months after having the new gearbox the gearbox has developed a leak. My partner phoned the garage and was told to call back as he was busy with a customer. So he did and the gentleman was nothing but arragant on the phone. We were told I could bring the car back but I would not be receiving a courtesy car and there was no guarantee it would be fixed; he then went onto say I could scrap the car for all he cared as he's not interested.
The level of customer service given in this garage is absolutely disgusting, bearning in mind the car came with a 1 year warranty and they are obligated to fix it, they are making it as difficult as possible to deal with them so I have no option but to take it elsewhere.
To be quite honest I would rather take the car elsewhere to be fixed as the mechanics seem to have no idea what they are doing and the manager is the most arrogant man I have ever met!
I received a "courtesy car" the second time I handed the car in (very kind I know) which I was told if I was stopped by the police I was to say I worked for the company as it was obviously not insured!! The first car they tried to give me had no tax either, which they were going to let me drive away in if I hadn't checked the dvla website.
I have been advised to take them to the small claims Court, which unfortunately I am going to have to pursue as I am now the one who is going to be out of pocket.
Please don't make the same mistake I did, you would be better off buying a car from the auctions than this garage!

Went down to Muirhead car centre last friday to have a look at their cars and a must say the customer service was superb... These guys have a great selection of cars and were very helpfull in helping me pick a car and with the whole process in getting my finance organised from start to finish was excellent.
