We visited for the first time last night and it certainly won’t be our last. It was absolutely superb. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. We had Sushi, it was delicious. We tried their lager Hite, it was light and had a nice taste to it. We would definitely recommend Mujigae. It’s one of the best South Korean/Japanese restaurants in the city.

We had a lovely family evening dinner experience last night; the waiter was soooo friendly and funny, made us feel so at home!!! He was Asian himself so he explained the dishes very well and even tought us how to properly use the chopsticks and how to pronounce some of the dishes; it was as if we had travelled to Asia for dinner - can't believe that we never asked his name to say a big thank you here

We did this on a Groupon and were really pleased. We will be back! Soju is a touch steep, so will not make the mistake of ordering again!BBQ Beef (for us to cook) was perfectly marinated, the bibimbap was great, but will probably not go for seafood again, the staff were friendly and the ambience was great, very different to what you might expect, but great all the same.

Was desperate to try proper sushi, saw Mujigae had a deal on and came with my son. It was amazing, portion size was great. The dishes looked like individual pieces of art that tasted wonderful. The deal menu was not scrimped on, I was amazed to see octopus and squid as choices.

User

Visited on a deal, I was surprised by the choice. Really good portions, excellent value, struggled to finish it all. Freshly cooked it arrived at the table as and when it was ready which suited us, being on a quick lunch date. The Tempura prawn were big and crispy, the nicest I've had in Glasgow, the SoKo chicken sweet with a spicy hit. The Teriyake salmon was simple but really tasty and the novelty of cooking our own ribe eye beef a fun novelty, something new to try. The service was perfect, really nice smiley people who have time to chat and acknowledge you, talk about the menu and ask about your day. Looking to go back again and book for occasions. A wee gem.

The place has nice waiters tell you everything with smile , a surprisingly stylish interior (which you don't see from the outside) and then of course: super good food. We had a pork bbq that is prepared by the table and had a rich sauce to it. we ordered different kind of smaller dishes like kimchi And Japanese food too! 2 in 1, highly recommended !!

User

The best meal I've had in several years. I had veg tempura, then bibimbap with seafood, both delicious. My wife had sushi (substantial for a starter) then chicken bibimbap, our son had crispy chicken, delicious and then a bibimbap. All were really good. We shared a portion of kimchi but I had most of it, that just made it superb. the service was good-humoured and reasonable considering how busy they were. 很好吃

Most I've enjoyed a meal in years, definitely be back

User

Lovely meal yesterday. Chose the BBQ meat platter which was perfect (even if we couldn't finish it!) Wonderful service, will recommend to others and certainly go again.

User

Had our anniversary meal here and both my husband and I really enjoyed our meal. Planning a return visit soon

User

Great service, great food and great prices.

User

Great service and great food 🙌

Close to George square, making it very easy to get to 😊

User

Fantastic meal, already looking forward to returning soon :)

The starter was delicious. The main meal was different - it was nice but felt from the start that due to being on a "deal" the meat was not as expected and there was no beef meat option as was advertised. Other tables did have beef so a bit suprised at this tbh. Cannot fault the staff who were helpful but had to ask someone on how to start the hotplate and set out the raw meat. On saying this it was nice but next time would put meat on earlier. We asked for soy sauce as the rice and meat was quite dry although tasty. Would go back but would order from the menu and not take the deal option.

User

Lovely food and good service no complaints

User

Not a good experience, restaurant was really cold, our starter's all came out at different times, and our mains were small and also just warm, over priced to won't be returning.

Would have rated zero if possible

Disgrace of a place - this is not a restaurant - dodgy dealings all over the place.

Bottles of Budweiser served are marked "multipack - not for individual resale" - but you get charge £3.75 each, for a 300ml bottle that was bought from a supermarket for about about £10 for 20 bottles.. not only are they flaunting alcohol laws, your getting ripped off big style, trading standards would love this place.they are coming to see you.

You ask for an irn bru - your provided with flat irn bru poured from a 2 litre bottle - again bought from a supermarket for about -£1.50 - your charged £1.75 per glass.

The groupon meal was a disgrace, measley portions provided and not even taste foood you could rave about.

The service was a disgrace -emotionless guy who asked me if i enjoyed my meal and tried to take my dish as i was still eating it.

The best laugh of all is the wine list - provide you with a list of pinot grigo or sauvignon blanc, but when you try to order a bottle they state " ah supplier problem" and point you towards a fridge packed with korean beer or a bottle of dusty champagne.

then tried to order from the draught taps on the bar - " ah lager is off also" - wtf?

this is a dodgy place- don't buy a groupon deal to this place.

you will leave dissapointed - dont waste you money in this seedy place

Would have given zero stars if possible. My friend and I went at lunchtime a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant first of all was cold with non existent atmosphere, the server with little to no knowledge of menu. Even said after I had complained ( in the nicest way possible) that if he had the money he would buy me another meal. The meal itself was tasteless, chicken to go on BBQ was just plain old chicken, not been marinated or flavoured in any way accompanied by plain white rice. A bottle of sauce was then plonked on the table which did nothing to add to the flavour. It was the most bland meal I have ever experienced in a restaurant with zilch ambiance.
