Another sweaty leg session today, as always 😏 hitting some DB stiff leg deadlifts! one of favourite exercises for targeting those hamstrings and glutes 🍑
I prefer using the DBs as opposed to the BB as I find a lot more muscle activation is used here, and you can get a much better squeeeeze! Fun tip, keep the DBs as close to the legs as possible. This way we use less back activation 💪🏻

Back gains have been coming on great ever since upping my calories. Going into my back sessions with a lot more energy for those heavy Pulls. Looking forward to packing on some more size over the coming months.

This is my client Mark showing signs of great progress! Mark had been pretty consistent with his training but wasn't producing any results after hitting a plateau.
Mark's eating was also hindering his progress big time! Since the start of the year with me taking over his diet and training, Mark has started taking his diet and cardio a lot more seriously. His weight has dropped by an amazing 16kg, while still maintaining his muscle mass which you can see by the definition in his back.
Still got some work to do to reach his goal but he's getting there. Awesome work dude!

Pressing the 30kgs for reps yesterday. Felt great. That was supposed to be my goal by the end of the month 🤔 ah well, 32kgs next 💪🏻💪🏻

Transformation Tuesday: this is one of my client's transformation. Photos were taking over an 8 month period! The first stage was the fat loss through cardio & muscle building. As you can see by the 2nd picture she has lost a substantial amount of fat and by the 3rd, cardio has been cut back but weights have increased so we can see a lot more muscle definition. My client also used to suffer from serious back pain and had very poor posture. Now with the correct form and training, her posture has improved and back pain has decreased a lot. Keep up the good work 💪🏻 so proud!

Had a tough deadlifting session today! Went for a new PB lift of 190kg but it just wasn't meant to be!
Not all sessions are great, but the key is to keep going and never quit! Sessions like these matter because we learn the hard way, and they test your mental determination!

Thought I would share with you what my diet tends to look like. This is what I'll eat on a moderate carb intake day. So here we have Brown rice, sweet potatoes, 2 x tins tuna with some low fat mayo, chicken breasts, lean mince, oats, banana, half avocado, half a bag of spinach and some broccoli. The only thing that's missing from here is the 8 egg whites with 3 yolks I had for breakfast 🙊

I feel I am seeing a difference already even though I have had injuries which I must add were NOT caused by the sessions! Murray knows his stuff and makes the workouts fun even though I swear at him continuously! About to book my 2nd block of 10.
