We are a very small cottage industry, working from a very beautiful cottage in the picturess village of Wark, Cornhill on Tweed, Northumberland.

At Myrtle Munchies we’re passionate about making the most delicious, wholesome home-baked dog treats made in the beautiful village of Wark, Cornhill on Tweed, Northumberland. We wanted to produce the most natural, wholesome dog treats that we could, but that would also be tempting to even the pickiest of pooches. Myrtle Munchies doggy treats are cram packed full of goodness, and where possible, we have sourced the best local produce found in our area, for example the 100% wholemeal flour we use in ALL our treat bakes is produced by our local mill (Heatherslaw Mill in the Ford and Etal Estates), and our free range eggs are from our lovely neighbours chickens. The quality of our ingredients are second to none and have been tested and approved by our very own resident picky pooch, Buster Boy and his second in command The Roxstar!

When it comes to a treat they are both extremely picky and have even been known to turn down a juicy bone, Buster Boy also has a very delicate digestive system and so we have only used ingredients that seem to not cause him (or us) any discomfort.

I was advised that our beautiful poster pooch Maddie pictured above, couldn't stop drooling over the packets of Myrtle Munchies treats laid out before her and kept trying to rip them open, luckily the photo shoot finished quickly and she was able to get a few of the treats as a reward. Good girl Maddie and thank you to Chris Myers for such a stunning photos.
