NAHS and @biraretail have welcomed the Treasury’s decision to increase discount rates for small retailers from one-third to 50 per cent. The move will save small retailers on average £12,000 per annum for eligible retail businesses occupying a property with a rateable value less than £51,000.
All reliefs are subject to state aid rules and apply in England.

NAHS have partnered with the Irish Association of Health Stores to arrange a roadshow designed specifically for UK independent retailers. Scheduled for 10th to 11th March we will visit 3 irish healthstores in Cork, Ireland to highlight 3 very different successful trading practices including a dedicated zero waste shop.
